GNC Herbal Plus Guarana 250 mg -

I have stomach problems so can no longer drink coffee or tea. Was using caffeine capsules, opened and powder dissolved under the tongue. Convenient, inexpensive, and though not the full experience of coffee chemicals, necessary for alertness and energy. Of course there's also the 'down.' Do find that the guarana (using contents of 2 caps, about 180mg of caffeine which I've read is like a 12oz coffee) has a gentler energy decline. Also comes on a little softer, so sometimes when I need a quick somewhat stronger spike, still do a caffeine capsule, but find the guarana smoother most of the time. After first writing this review I tried a separate guarana powder so I could add caffeine capsules in different amounts and seemed less expensive. It worked - but - I had to use more of the guarana powder than in the pills to get the same effect and the convenience of these pills (including easy to carry a few for later in the day) brought me back to this product.

Stand by this product and recommend in place of daily coffee. I started this because my teeth would get stained yellow by coffee, and my gums were so sensitive I couldn't use whitening or bleaching products. So, swapped this in for coffee and never looked back! It's so great when you're traveling and it save time every morning (no dishes). I still love the taste of coffee and have my occasional cup, but for a morning caffeine fix, this is the way to go. My friends say I'm an addict, but it's actually slightly less caffeine than your average cup of coffee and doesn't seem to upset my stomach as much either.

I don’t drink coffee. I like this guarana for its gentle and steady ‘pick me up energy’. I don’t get any jitters, just a nice, level, definitely noticeable, sustained kind of energy. I use a more intense product for my workouts, but this is great for helping me focus at work or on daily tasks when the energy just isn’t coming to me naturally.

Better than The smell is not so great and size of the capsules are a little large but they really do work and they are a much better alternative to buying expensive energy drinks every day!

These work great ... I usually take 4 to get the best "energy high" ... the energy is nice and clean and last just long enough for me to get a good workout in and best of all no crash! Highly recommended if you are looking for good clean energy without the jitters or the crazy or the stimulants! Will buy again and again!
