VERY versatile and EXTREMELY comfortable. Size runs .25-.5 small [like a dive boot]
I compared at least 6 different rain boots, mud boots and different sizes in some. They were sizes 9, 10, 11 etc. Depends on the manufacturer:For our purposes here I will compare size 10 in:1. Seac 6mm, 2. Guide Gear, 3. Crocs AllCast, 4. Hisea, 5. Servus Comfort tech, 6. LaCrosse Diamondback snake proofTo be be fair, the LaCrosse is the most uncomfortable because it is a more rigid snake proof boot. Safety first, comfort last. That being said there is a better, more versatile and just as safe alternative. I'll try to remember to add it in here later.Back to the boots.I'm going to rank these for ease of scanning reviews [I know I read hundreds trying to find the items].All Size 10: In all of the boots, if you want to use your sole insert order one size up. Except Hisea seemed to fit size 10 with insert [i.e., it runs a size+ large].1. Seac 6mm dive boot: fits like a shoe and almost looks like one. Nice full rubber sole. Size 10 is snug on this 9.5-10 foot [that's with sock. Took the sock off and was perfect. Wet foot little difficult to get in but slide your fingers down your foot or use a plastic grocery bag over foot]. Can wear zipped on side for real water proof needs or unzipped walking/hiking around. Yes Hiking! These are great for Fossil hunting in shorts, wearing under BuzzOff pants, with wading overalls to stay dry in summer or winter [6mm], or walking on beaches with shells or while diving coral reefs. VERY versatile. ALL the other boots are not meant to be worn in water deeper than @12". The Crocs maybe 6". If you say you want boots to hunt/hike I'd say buy the Crack Shot Snake Guardz and wrap over these and your jeans [or bare even legs} MUCH more comfortable and versatile.2. Guide Gear: fits slightly looser than Seac. Very comfortable with over calf boot [calf area appears large enough to fit the guy on the insurance commercial with the calk implants] Fits like a true size 10. Plenty of room in toe. just a little pressure on top of the foot. If you're dead set on a traditional "mud boot" look these are a great choice. Plenty of room to stuff your pant legs into the contoured calf area. I'd then add the Snake Guardz over that.3. Crocs AllCast [after this it's a distant 4th etc] Size 10 fits like size 11 maybe 10.75. Size 9.0 fits okay I guess like a 9.25. They are comfortable and I could wear either around the house. The 10's flop a lot though and heel slide even in 9.0's. Very comfy but whats the purpose of half calf in these? More of a walk the dog or walk to work, If you're going in streams it will fill up.4. Hisea: perplexing. Kind of comfortable sole but size 10 is more like an 11.5. And bulky, and foot area doesn't seem to have enough curve to it. Be difficult to get a good fit unless you ordered at least three pair to try on. I'd think the mud would just suck this boot in, especially if in the water when it fills up.5. Servus "Comfort" Technology: Heavy. Rubber sole not bad. Okay if you just need to slip on to get something out of car. Wouldn't want to walk far. VERY wide calf opening. Your wife could probably stuff her purse in there.6. LaCrosse Diamondback snake proof boots: If I was going in snake infested area and I didn't have time to order on Amazon I'd wear these. But wow, heavy, stiff and uncomfortable. The ONLY option I found to wear on it's own, with waders for waterproof fishing/hunting/hiking or fossil/relic hunting [not brand] that covers ALL the bases [Functionality, comfort, ankle support and WATERPROOF...as in water can't come in over the top of the boot] is the Seac.I will add photo of all boots for visual comparison efficiency. Hope that helps.Good luck and let me know what else you'd like reviewed. Since my three Strokes I don't get out much.Carpe Diem. This is one of first days I have ever done a review. Please give a "Helpful" up vote.

Great boots, make sure they fit your fins
I’ve had the 5mm Cressi Isla for a few years and have been pretty happy with them. They are lightweight and kept my feet relatively warm in the cold California waters. Until this last dive, averaging 49deg causing my feet to completely numb. Getting out of the water, I was walking on nubs. As the blood started rushing back to my feet I had a horrible burning/ itching sensation. Maybe the Cressi’s are old? In any case, these were my replacements. I ordered the large and they would not fit in my Seac fins. So I ordered the mediums and went for a dive. They still did not fit my fins, and they were tight on my feet (I wear 10.5 size shoe). BUT, my feet were warm the entire day!! So I will be returning the medium, keeping the large, and getting new fins. These were great, solid boots and I highly recommend them. Just make sure they fit your feet and your fins.

Great boots, and an excellent match for the Scubapro Twin Jet Max Scuba Diving Fins
These are a great boot! Received on time and just as described. The quality is great. A good sturdy sole and flexible upper, and zipper is robust with a velcro retaining strap. From all the conflicting comments on sizing in the reviews, I decided to stick to my regular size range, at least as a starting point. I wear a size US 8.5 - 9 D dress shoe and hiking boot, and size 9 - 9.5 running shoe (depending on the manufacturer). For these boots, I ordered Medium (8.5-9.5) and found them to fit me perfectly. In length, my big toes slightly touch the end when walking, but not in an irritating way. The width permits a "slight" boundary of air/water, so they're not too snug, which makes them easy to get on and off. I bought these boots along with a pair of Scubapro Twin Jet Max Scuba Diving Fins, size Medium, and they fit the fins perfectly. The tension of the spring straps on the fins makes the boots fit snug in the fins. When standing with the fins on, my feet and toes are comfortably snug, with no uncomfortable cramping of the toes. There's no side-to-side movement in the fins either, and no bight or pinch on the top of the boot from the edge of the fin pocket. I haven't been diving with the boots and the fins yet, but considering the fit, I'm not anticipating any issues in the water. All-in-all, I'm VERY pleased with these boots (and the fins).

If you wear a size 10 shoe get the extra large size neoprene boot. Large is too small
If you wear a size 10 shoe get the extra large neoprene boot, not the large size like everyone else says. Too tight. What a disappointment. you reviewers suck. Hope this review helps someone.

A Quality Product and Comfortable Wet Boot.
The size is accurate, the quality is good, they are very comfortable. I use these boots with both kayaks. In my sit inside kayak they don't work so well as it is a tight fit for the boots, so I use a smaller, thinner boot. They work great with my sit-on-top fishing kayak. They are warm and not too warm for sitting in the sun in the summer time. I use these boots more in my fishing kayak and I am usually out for 5 hours at a time and they feel great.

Good for hiking. Not for kayaking.
They're not waterproof. Only good for warm weather. I'm getting a different brand for my fall and winter kayaking cause i need to stay totally dry. I was really disappointed that my feet got soaked the first time i used them. The tread, however, is great because I kayak every weekend and then walk on very rugged river banks and islands with stinging nettles, thorns, rocks and other debris where I land. So far, after one summer of use, they have held up very well. My only complaint is that one time you get them wet, that's it: your feet are gonna be wet EVERY TIME you use them. But they're warm, due to the thick gortex.

Great pair of boots
These are very nice dive boots. They fit perfect and have kept my feet warm in cold water dives. I'm glad I purchased them. The only downfall is the souls of the boots are as pictured. I used a heat gun on my fins to stretch them. Once I did this they fit fine. Worth the purchase but make sure they will fit your fins.

Warm, tough but size is pain
Bought primarily for hard sole for shore dives. Easy to don and doff. Keeps me plenty warm in 50-55 F water. Biggest complaint is the sizing. I purchased a set of neoprene water socks to wear with these boots because I fall in middle of size range so felt loose.

Sturdy boots- run large
I ordered the medium as I'm a 6.5 (female) in shoes. Length is 25.5cm. Eu size 40.The boots were a good inch too long for my feet.My husband is a size 8-9 in trainers, foot length is 27cm. He has tried them on and they fit him perfectly.I don't know if the wrong size is on the boot, but they are way bigger than a 6.5 .According to EU sizing, he should need the XL boot, but had I ordered these they would have been far too big. Yet the foot length section would have put him in an L.I'm going to try the S, in the hope that they fit, but I'm wondering if XS would be better based on the fact that according to his EU size, a boot 2 sizes smaller fits my husband.I have got chunky feet, so definitely didn't anticipate them being too big. Has anyone tried to alleviate some of the issue with socks at all? Do they make enough difference? On the plus side, they are comfy, feel sturdy and the zip goes up quite happily even on my chunky calves.

Excelente botas!
Las botas son muy cómodas, el material y construcción tienen excelente calidad y la suela es muy gruesa lo que da mucha seguridad a la hora de caminar antes de llegar al lugar de la inmersión.La suela gruesa puede representar un problema para algunas aletas.
