Perfect
This helped with my GERD and my husband hasn't snored since we've been sleeping on it. Liked it so much bought a second one for our bed at the lake. Didn't find it difficult to get used to sleeping on in the least. Also helped improve the bags under my eyes...bonus! Would recommend :)

GReat quality product - wonderful for lung, reflux etc
This exact product - was shown to us and recommended by our doctor (mayo) to help with my ‘issues’. She wanted a full length wedge, as she said people tend to slide down off of pillow wedges. So we ordered a set of these for our queen size bed. The quality is great - they fit and perform perfectly. They did exactly what they’re supposed to do. I definitely slept better almost the first night. I will warn you - they take some getting used to. Give it a few weeks. We did run into one problem - my husband tends to have some edema (ankles and feet) - and these wedges made that significantly worse. The solution for that was for him to sleep with a pillow under his feet. Here are notes re our set-up experience. We have a traditional cherry bed frame - and were using a box spring under our mattress. A) i COULD have put these wedges between the box spring and the mattress - but that made the bed too high for us. B) thus, i removed the box spring - this then required bed ‘slats’ for the frame. I measured the frame width and length and determined the width minus 1/3 inch. (This would give me slats i could lay into the frame, but still wide enough to stay on the frame, even with weight which can cause slight bowing). Home Depot etc - tell the ‘person’ in lumber you need bed slats. In most cases they’ll recommend the boards to use - likely 4-6 inch wide by 1/2in thick. You’ll need sufficient boards to not quite fill the length of your bed. (Not to tight a fit - but close.) Give the rep your width measurement - they’ll cut - and you’re on your way home. BUT while you are there - buy a basic plastic ‘tarp’ (brown is nice) C) Once home, lay your slats in place. Then lay in your tarp. Staple gun or tac your tarp in place on one side - then cut to fit the rest (this will protect your new wedges and/or your mattress from rubbing tears against the wood). Lay in your wedges - put the mattress in place - you’re done.

Good product
Paid more than I wanted to pay but it has been worth it. The mattress elevator works as described. Putting bricks under one of bed was causing strain to the timber structure but this mattress elevator solved problem without stressing the bed frame. I sleep well and I recommend the product to anyone else who needs end of bed elevated.

Works under heavy mattress
Perfect size and comes in 2 pieces. I have it under our mattress so the foam isn’t a problem. Very firm and just the right height at 5”. Took a little getting used to. Helps with sinus and congestion.

Avana Does the Job it Says it Does
My order got to me quickly. Everything looked very clean when I unrolled the two queen sides that I received. My first thought was, "And, I paid what for these?" They didn't seem substantial out of the box. However, sleeping on the under mattress has definitely proved their worth. I put the Avana between my box springs and mattress. The first night was rough because I had never slept on an incline before. But within three days, the Avana became very comfortable to me. This is not because it got softer, but because I got used to the new sleeping setup. Speaking of softer, it has not softened my mattress at all; in fact, it feels just a bit firmer. The Avana at 5" raises your entire bed quite a bit--and I'm short. While it isn't ideal for shorter-statured people, such as myself, it IS IDEAL for the purpose I bought it for--I am feeling so much better than I was!!! The Avana really works. My stomach issues are not over completely, but I've actually gotten up in the mornings feeling normal to almost normal again. The under mattress is pretty much a godsend. Sleeping on my own pillows as usual again has been a slice of heaven. I am definitely a total fan of this concept. Wedges don't provide the gentle slope or the length across your bed that this product does. The Avana keeps you honest. :) It really has made life easier for me. If you are suffering from GERD or sinus issues, I can't recommend this product enough. It's a great inexpensive substitute for an adjustable mattress if you'd like to save money--although it only has one setting, which happens to be great.
