Does this really provide protection from people who would want to steal doorbell? If so how?

If anyone truly wants to steal it or anything they can, but they will need to take time to unscrew it.

How many inches from the edge of door to the camera after mounted? My concern is my storm door may still block the camera.

A little less than 2 inches. (See video for reference) hope this helps!

Sorry it doesn't support and you can check our gallery to find the compatible model

Will this will work with an RV door?

Well to be honest I think it should depend on the thickness of the door or you can just drill it.
