First I have looked at so many of these products trying to find a good quality/price balance, weighing up the the materials and claims made by the manufacturers, in conclusion I purchased one of these Yitahome units, delivery was on time exactly as promised, very well packed nice box everything inside, with easy simple assembly booklet. Material quality is better than some of the other brands, very precisely cast and molded strong components this is a product produced with a great deal of thought and designed to fit together in a tight ridged structure. So after correct assembly all the joints are almost invisible no gaps, making a close almost seamless finished item. I would suggest that the asembly instructions are studied from start to finish before attempting assembly, better to lay out the components in preparation. The actual assembly is logical once you have layed out the parts with reference to the diagrams, and identified the items, it is not rocket science, follow the order of things and you will actually enjoy putting it together...the rubber mallet idea is a good one, if you do not have such a tool, like a camping tent peg mallet, then perhaps a small softwood block with an old towel wrapped round it, this is only used to gently tap the locking tabs of the sections into the location slots, this is a common practice for fast assembly method of plastic type components it is quick and easy and forms a surprisingly ridged structure once completed. My unit resulted in a nice squared structure, no warping, no bending, strong enough for the designed purpose. Conclusion, these look good, are a good design, the panels are of good quality, looks of better quality than the cheaper variety on offer, so yes worth the money, and designed with the end user in mind. Ordered, Delivered Friday on Saturday when opening and halfway unpacked noticed damage to lid. Contacted (offered £10.48 to keep it and not return - refused) they arranged collection on Monday (free) no fuss also it gives options during the process (much easier) which they organised return and reordered replacement (Tuesday delivery) all delivery/collection people was polite and courteous (new carrier) Made today instructions very easy and understandable with clear diagrams. Only 1 not sure off which was holes in the bars but guessing it is so you can screw end pieces in place for better security but need make own holes through plastic. (at moment not done as feels quite solid. Dark brown which blends into the garden. Both air springs for lid are good and just right on pressure for lifting/lowering lid. I agree it does feel flimsy for the price but once put together also feels solid. We ordered it to put cushions in they are able to fit flat or sideways. Cushion size 120cm length and still enough space to store bag of wood for burner. As with the last comment you appreciate that we bought it for storage so will update next time it rains hard regarding keeping items dry. It has a clasp for a lock but no lock supplied - no big deal but good to know they have taken in security in mind. Why 4 stars? - 1) cost for what it is - we will see. 2) Rain protection - update expected. Service - excellent, specially on collection and reordering - no problem

Excellent size storage box which is large enough to store my patio chairs, all the cushions from my patio set and various other garden items. It was really easy to assemble, it took me about 30 minutes - the main components click together and the instructions clearly show you how to fix the hydraulic arms to open and close the box. It has rained almost constantly since we've had it but it is fully waterproof and the contents have stayed bone-dry. All in all an excellent buy.

Compared with other boxes it seems a bargain. Our cushions fit in just about, it’s a full lounger set we have. This was ideal as the waterproof cover for the lounger unfortunately isn’t 100% waterproof so we needed a box like this. So far it’s held up against the rain. It says two people to build but I did it myself in half an hour, simple enough. It’s very sturdy too

Put it together, has metal bars on the top long sides and one in the lid, it really should have anther two along the bottom long sides, having said that it's a good price point for it's size. All pieces at the bottom have to be clicked together with a rubber mallet (which we have) they have big hooks to clip together, so tip it upside down to make sure they have clipped in. Daylight can be seen peeking through the corners if you don't check it's together making it not water tight. When screwing on the lid hinge it pushed out a small crack that we hadn't noticed before. The seller replaced the whole thing, and their customer service was so quick and efficient. It's sitting in my dinning room getting in the way until the problem is resolved. A replacement came within 4 days. It's big enough to hold 4 basic folding camping chairs, 2 padded bucket camping chairs, 2 high backed Isabella folding chairs, and one extension foot stool for Isabella chair. So it's a big capacity, as the ltr size quoted doesn't comprehend. UPDATE... THE SELLER REPLIED QUICKLY AND OFFERED US A REPLACEMENT. THANK YOU. A VERY QUICK RESPONSE. Very happy with this replacement.

15kg box delivered into my hall by courier... thank you. 16yo daughter & I (DIY female in 50s) had this assembled in about 30 mins. Only tool required was a star headed screwdriver. It advised a mallet (I used my shoe to gently kick the pieces together). Just about big enough for my patio furniture cushions. 7 puffy back cushions, 6 seat cushions & 1 larger cushion. I have 2 other smaller stool cushions which I've left in place as there under a cover & a coffee table for protection. Don't know if this would blow about... I'm expecting it to do so as it is light. I may need to attach it to the wall of my house with a strong cable. All in all it will do the job perfectly.

My husband has put this box together while I was at work he said it was definitely a two men job and took him 1 hour and 30 minutes to put up. Reason for the purchase is that my daughter has a lot of football kit, trainers and bags and so on and we run out of space inside the house. She also has a lot of kit for her mopet. It's all in there. It hasn't stopped raining in the past 2 months and it all stays super dry in that box. It has also been very windy and this box is going nowhere. Would definitely buy again.

A sturdy box when assembled and feels strong & secure. As a female OAP, but pretty competent DIY-er, I was a little taken aback by the weight and size of the parts, but they all went together very positively. A rubber mallet is almost essential to knock joints into place. The only thing that challenged me was the lid - not easy single-handed but got there in the end - hence 4 stars not 5. The lid opens/closes very smoothly. I got 2 extra screws and an extra securing plate in the pack (always nice to have spare bits) but the gloves whilst a nice touch were on the small size. Excellent value for money. BTW somewhere in the description is says it is black - no, it is brown, but that was not important for me.

Me ha gustado bastante, es justo lo que necesitaba. Grandes dimensiones. Eso sí, mi padre que es medio manitas demoró dos horas en armarlo y necesitó todas las herramientas que ves en las fotos (como no teníamos martillo toco usar una llave de tubo). En fín, buen producto pero sifícil de armar para un novato.

Die Gartenbox ist richtig klasse. Sie ist robust und wasserdicht. Draufsetzen ist auch kein Problem.

Facile à assembler, même seul ce qui était mon cas ! Un tournevis cruciforme P2 et un maillet suffisent. Les assises de mon salon de jardin font pour les fauteuils un diamètre de 63x6cm et pour le canapé 160x60x6cm, les 5 coussins font 55x45x15cm et les 4 petits 40x40x8cm. Le tout rentre sans problème, juste l'assise du canapé légèrement plié puisque plus grande que l'intérieur du coffre de plus il reste encore de la place pour mettre les 2 assises de transat qui font 125x45x4cm. Depuis mon installation, il a beaucoup plu et le coffre est parfaitement étanche, il y a un léger jour au niveau des charnières qui permet une bonne ventilation donc pas d'humidité ! Le coffre peut aussi servir de banc de part sa rigidité, je l'ai testé et je fais mon poids, il ne bronche pas. Super satisfait pour l'instant, j'ajouterai un commentaire après une saison mais a priori c'est tout bon.
