Thirsty Rhino Badak Bottle Opener (Brushed Silver)

I'm a bartender in a college town been using one of these almost every day for the past year and some change. It's got a larger mouth so it's easy to line up 10 bottles of beer on the line and pop them all off quick. Bar guests love it. It's thick the enamel/paint is resilient but wears well. It makes the tool comfortable to spin on your finger. Other uncoated bar keys have sharp edges. Others have smaller mouths that make it a little harder to quickly pop bottles open.Ordering more since I tragically lost one of the first two I bought but as long as you don't loose them they'll last. Take them home with you after your shift, keep them on your person, don't loan them out, someone will take them. Don't buy them for your employees, buy them for you.

not only does it look beautiful, it is very high quality. it's heavier than some, but i just keep mine in my back pocket when i'm bartending and i don't notice a thing. just a warning though: if you drop it, this baby makes a LOT of noise. highly recommend for bartenders or people wanting a stylish but extremely functional bottle opener.

Recently, I went in search of a new bottle opener, which I wanted for my kitchen and specifically wanted to keep affixed to my refrigerator. I was really surprised at the limited number of options out there. I couldn't find anything that was styled like my old one. After researching several openers, including reading several reviews, I settled on this one and have been using it regularly since receiving it earlier this month (July 2020).The worst thing is that it is not magnetized. It is flat on both sides of the unit, so I purchased magnetic taped which I applied to one side of it and that then it attaches nicely to the refrigerator. That made the purchase much more expensive than I wanted, but the need for the new opener made me do it.Some people have written it's too big. I can see that. It is big and wide, but while I notice it, it doesn't make it unusable. It would be nice if they had alternate versions of the product, ones that were magnetized and ones that were narrower. Big hands will love this; small hands might be more frustrated.Note: this is a straight bottle opener on one end with a slot to use for hanging it on the other end. It is not a can opener.I do like the smoothness of it. The one I purchased is all black. It opens bottles easily, maybe even better than any others I've owned. I like it; I just wish I didn't have to spend extra money to magnetize it.

I've been looking for a good bottle opener for awhile now. I have a bunch of keychain openers, but I was looking for something I could keep on my boat using a loop of paracord plus something that could handle me abusing it. I ordered a thirsty rhino opener and damn this thing is tough, heavy duty and I doubt it'll rust. Great product feels good in the hand. It would definitely make a great gift for someone.

Great product for a great price. It is long enough that it will not fall out of your back pocket, and has an easy, yet smooth grip to it. Great for working in nightclubs.

Works well. But it rusted after one use. Now it looks unsanitary to use for my private events

ok, I really wasn't expecting a lot from this. I mean, it's a bottle opener, yay.Well, I was mistaken.This item is fairly heavy, and it's better craftsmanship than I was expecting. I now have two of these, one for in my den and one in the kitchen. I'm a big fan. Plus, it's nice to have something heavy to throw at someone that wants to take my last beer.

My wife is a professional bartender and she has put this through the hell test in her bar for 3 months now. The paint is barely beginning to wear. What a good buy!
