Does this have the heat drying facility

No but in truth you don’t need it. The carpet is almost gone dry by the time it is cleaned. In summer when I used it I opened the window and the carpet was gone dry within the hour. You can walk on the carpet immediately after cleaning it. It is barely moist/damp.

Is the main water tank not meant to sit flush with the main frame of the cleaner mine doesn't

The tanks should sit flush with the main machine so there is a tight seal. Try removing and re-fitting the tank if not. Hope this helps

It does everything the smartwash does only u have the trigger to apply the solution and water its not automatic
