What is so cool about this range hood is that it perfectly matches my kitchen which is black as well. I love how easily this was to install and once it was installed, I tested this out with a candle that always seems to burn hot. Not only did this suck out the smoke instantly but I didn't need to have the fan on high in order for it to suck out the smoke. Even when cooking, especially fried foods, the suction power is nothing but amazing. The lights are bright enough that I can actually see anything and everything I want and need to. When I turned this on, I was also surprised on how quite it was compared to my old range hood. It was on but it didn't sound like it but you could clearly see all steam and smoke be sucked through the vent. Even when it comes to cleaning, paint doesn't chip or peel off!

This is my second- third time buying this item. I really like it but be aware that is not a hard metal and when cleaning or installing just have to be more gentle. The price is unbeatable and installation was fast very simple When cleaning is super easy and it never looks dirty for the fan suction when removing also gentle and don’t use nothing else but soap and water because the black will pill with time. I’ll leave them in water with soap for few minutes and it cleans well.

First of all, if you're just putting this in your kitchen to fill the space, it's basically perfect. The install was super easy, though your mileage may vary depending on where your outlet is. The biggest negative is the LED light - it's VERY cheap looking, it's positioned way in the back and just provides this weird little pool of light - it's barely useful as a task light. Trying to at least replace it with a less white light, will update if I figure it out. The second negative is the buttons - they work and feel solid but they look pretty cheap. The fan seems okay? It certainly enough to pick up the steam from boiling water etc. I'm using the carbon filters (sold separately) and I haven't tried anything like fish but broadly they seem to work. The best part is the price - it was cheap enough that I figured I'd buy it and if I didn't like it I'd replace it in a few months. No need. Because, second best thing, it looks sleep, modern if you ignore the buttons, and it checked off the box of getting a steam hood into my kitchen.

This island range hood was exactly what I was looking for. So many others I saw were bulky, overly curved, or just didn’t have the clean, modern look I wanted. This one is perfect—sleek and minimal, and it ties in beautifully with the rest of our kitchen. Functionally, it’s just as impressive. The fan strength is excellent and works really well, even though we didn’t run separate ventilation—it’s been the perfect vent hood for our setup. The filters seem high quality and do a great job, and the built-in lights are bright and feel premium. It's also super easy to use. Overall, I couldn’t be happier with this purchase!

Junk! Do not buy. It’s a fire hazard. Smells like something is burning when on. It arrived dented. Customer service is pitiful. Chatting with some company from china. Think junk, DO NOT BUY! Amazon should pull these from there site. Junk!

It looks good and the blower sucks what it is supposed to. The light is as bright as a tea lite candle. We have plenty of natural light, so we aren't too hurt about it. This light is very blue, and dim. It's a common joke in our house. Don't expect to install this with anyone from church. You will definitely lose your sanity. My wife left me all alone in the house. Wise choice. The instructions are as useless as a poopy flavored lollipop. It took me about 45 minutes of looking at parts before finally installing. For background, I've built homes, airplanes, and helicopters ...so how hard could this be? Like I said, if I had known the instructions were garbage, I would have saved a bit of my sanity. I ended up modifying some parts, then framed the inside with 2x2 in order for it to look good. I did need an extension, because my ceilings are 9', and I wanted a finished look. This is where the real insanity lies. Now that is is installed and I have confessed my language, all is well. And it looks good.

I have now purchased two of these for rental properties I am renovating. They look really nice and if you have a plug in the wall, are very easy to install.

These hoodvents are wild expensive and especially if you are looking for a sleek look. The fan is pretty quiet and the assembly is decent quality the upper vent shaft is a bit finicky to get straight and needs some adjusting - my only feedback would be a MUCH brighter light :)

Nice unit, husband said it was easily installed. Have had since Dec 2024, no issues with use. Fan not too loud, small light but enough I felt for over a range. Rated 4 stars as I haven’t been able to test its longevity at this point.
