Top quality!
Update 3/2019: I have used this as a medium-duty board and it has stood up well by applying coconut oil on it every once in a while. I ordered another to use for baking/cutting bread.I purchased this after a wood board I purchased retail had a very strong fiberboard odor that leached into my food (the manufacturer said it was a food-grade lacquer). This smells like actual wood, is nice to look at, and is lightweight. I have had no warping issues so far. Seems like a quality product especially compared to the last board.

Disappointing for the price
I expected one edge to have some of the live edge, showing the natural shape of the wood as pictured. Instead, it was very roughly and imprecisely shaped by tool marks and some irregular sanding on all sides, not in a rustic way though, it just appears carelessly made. There's even a small perpendicular cut from a saw blade into the wood on one side. However, the hole is precisely cut and sanded, the cutting surface is smooth and usable, and it is a beautiful piece of wood. I'll probably work on the edges a bit to smooth things out and hopefully give it a more precise shape the next time I get out my sander.

Beautiful and from Italy
Olive wood is the perfect cutting and serving service. Also perfect for making Pasta and pizza dough. Perfect surface to knead dough and roll out dough on.

Not as described.
Nice cutting board. However description and picture are for somewhat irregular shape. One I got was perfect rectangle with rounded corners. Would prefer as pictured.

Stylish and functional
Solid function and stylish at the same time. I did treat the wood board with an oil moisturizer to keep it from drying out and splitting, a problem I had with my last cutting board.

Good quality, look could be a bit cuter
High quality board, but visually I expected something fancier and I with it was thicker. I have another olive wood board and it looks very cute, while this one looks plain.

Smells toxic
This smells toxic. We left it outside for 2 days to air out and it doesn't smell much better. Going to see if I can return even though we took off the shrink wrap.

Don't bother, chipping and cracks
Went through 3 boards already, but needed to send them back. First one the sides started falling apart and chipping after I washed it first time. Second board came warped like a bridge. Third one had cracks all over the board like an earthquake has struck. Don't bother with this price!

Lovely grain and good wood board
I like my cutting board and I would buy again. Always difficult to predict what you will get mail order but the quality and grain are good and it seems to be tough. It looks classy especially after I have oiled it down.
