The bedding is lovely but when it arrived it is a very pale colour and nothing like the photo shows. I still like it so didn't want to return it 😀

It's a lovely duvet set with its velvet and delicate diamante embellishments, plus the material is of good quality and soft. These are the pluses, however, I was very surprised and rather disappointed by the colour. The advertised colour for the Duck Egg Blue was much darker and had more blue tones to it. But the duvet colour I received was wholly wrong. The colour I got was a lovely soft duck egg but a very pale tone with far less blue. Had I known this and didn't reply on the product images, I would have not purchased a white pillow shams to go with it but Teal ones instead with plays as a contrasting factor or I may have had not purchased it at all and looked for an actual darker Duck Egg Blue duvet set. The moral to this anecdote is, never trust the colour advertised on the product pages. They are obviously colour enhanced to the point they are showing as different colours. I guess if you buy the black set, you'll be ok.
