Perfect size and well constructed

Have only had it a few days but can say it's a very smart looking box. Really like the size and the fact that it locks.

I would really gives this a 3.5 if possible. I ordered a couple to store 3.75 inch wooden chess sets and they are the perfect size. Quality seems to be a bit iffy on one of the two the lid doesn't close all the way when not locked and one of the keys doesn't work. The finish on the inside is also a little rough but I plan to line them with felt. Looks good (to me any way) and I have found it useful.

This is a beautiful, solid box, and it would have been perfect if it weren't for two cracks in the bottom. Because the bottom panel is sized exactly to the rest of the box I can't fix these cracks because then the bottom panel would be too small. It's a huge pain for me to try to return it, so I'll most likely try adding my own panel to hold it together then fill in the cracks with wood paste of something. This is very disappointing because in all other respects this is a beautiful, sturdy, functional box well worth the price.
