Buyers beware: This is definitely NOT a USB 3.0 device. It's an ordinary USB 2.0 card reader. I have verified this beyond any doubt. It looks exactly as in the listing so, since it's a 'replacement only' item, claiming a replacement would be meaningless. I have blacklisted the brand and the seller 'Famous Quality' and will never buy anything from them again.

The transfer speed of the card reader is really good. I have tried it with pendrive , sd card and camera card. It provides a constant speed of 30-40 Mbps depending on the file, which is good. If you will use a good chip then it can go beyond that speed too.▪️ Build quality is premium.▪️ speed is wonderful.▪️ It's affordable.▪️ Looks cool with the blue lightning while using it. Pros:-> Good Metallic feeling Build (Cold to Touch), Feels like Metal. comes with two faced caps for dust resistance.-> Versatile use cases, the Ultimate OTG device U are going to Need. (Just Wish it was actually USB 3.0 Instead of 2.0). but supports Pend rives, Micro SD and Full SIZE SDHC Cards, that to in 3 connectivity options 1) Type-C, 2) Type-A, 3) Micro-USB.-> Speed is okay by USB 2.0 Standards.-> Fast Speeds observed especially when you connect it to USB 2.0 Ports (Using USB 3.0 Ports reduced the transfer speeds), some bug, but still compatible.Cons:-> Misleading Product description, its USB 2.0, not 3.0.-> Cannot connect an External HDD to Type-C of my Laptop, (USB 2.0 Power Limitations).-> Durability, most card readers have a poor track record in terms of longevity, although the metallic looking body is not not at fault, but the Plugs are flimsy looking. (Will Update Review if any faults are found)Verdict: Overall a decent buy, considering the usability, it works great to transfer documents and small photos at decent USB 2.0 Speeds. The product I received is some China made card reader which did not work with both laptop(Asus Vivobook- Windows 10) and phone(Samsung M31S). Its mentioned in description that it is from Famous Quality brand, but brand name is not mentioned on the box or on the card reader instead just a label was there on the box.
