Review: This Top Tier German Made Binocular Is Highly Rated, But Does Not Come With A Protective Case! - Having received the Steiner Carry Case, I took this Top Tier Binocular and gave it a real test on one of the newest passenger cruise liners now plying the Seven Seas. This optical product by Steiner is truly a Precision Instrument and deserves its Professional Praises, with crystal clear optics, well protected armored coatings, providing absolute clear edge to edge brightness, even at dusk, dawn, and night observations, plus water resistance built in (both fresh and ocean salt-water). As a Bridge Watch Navigator, who requires perfect magnified vision for Safety-At-Sea including precise navigation, especially in crowded portside waters, and tight vessel berthing situations, this binocular provides unlimited service as long as it is cared for as any precision optical device, casing when not in use, and use of the neck strap at all times when deployed. This writer is most impressed overall with this German Made Optical Instrument, with the only criticism as it did not come with a protective carry case. It carries a heavy purchase price but for professional maritime requirements it exceeds all expectations for this writer. The only comment is that you must have steady hands as Ten Power is the Maximum for any and all Hand Held Binoculars. In summary this unit is rated thoroughly: OUTSTANDING!!
Review: Very good glass - Clear view and very sharp images. Ranging reticle works pretty well, not precise as a laser rangefinder after 300 yds - which is to be expected, unless calling in artillery. A bit bulky and surprisingly light.

## Features

- Floating Prism System uses flexible silicone lens mount to absorb severe shock, impact and abuse without damage; NBR Rubber Armoring is durable, slip-proof and noiseless to ensure secure, chassis protecting grip in all conditions

- N2 Injection system seals 14-psi pressurized dry nitrogen into the optic, for fog-proof clarity in any condition - from cold to desert heat; Uses a versatile ranging reticle found on all "r" models that be used to judge both the height and distance
- Sports-Auto Focus System lets you focus each eyepiece to your vision once, then keeps images razor sharp from 20 yards to infinity; No more chasing focus on moving objects
- HERITAGE WARRANTY - We stand behind our products. Period! We will repair/replace defective products at no charge for the lifetime of the product. Warranty does not cover damage, loss or theft.
