LASCO 03-4947 Bathtub Waste and Overflow Parts with PVC Threaded Elbows San Tee and Strainer, Chrome

Perfect if you're trying to set up a new tub and the standard diy lot with slip joints from the big box stores is either too rigid (no way to put in joints to work around framing, etc) or too risky (slip joints are more prone to fail than solvent welds), or both. I won't comment on the quality of the metal finish on the stopper and overflow, but for the price I think you'd be crazy to expect much there - I already had upgraded trim pieces and just needed the PVC and this was perfect for that. The only thing I'd note is that the overflow adaptor is set at a right angle, and the gasket is square (but quite thick, so maybe it would compensate) so you might need some additional fittings to get the pipes to line up if your tub has a significant slope on the faucet side, as is common. In my case, I got a modern tub and the surface that the overflow mounted to was vertical so this was perfect.

Decent pvc parts, but the brass fixtures are cheap

Nice kit much stronger than the tubular stuff remember you have to supply your own inch and a half d-wv PVC pipe.

all pieces are schedule 40 much better then that cheap thin plastic on other kits

Being Lasco I thought It would be quality.Turns out this product was low quality and did not fit my new bathtub.The threads on the waste basket were so short I could not screw on the pvc piece with the gasket.I have a complete set of plumbing tools and none of them fit the waste basket.I ended up buying a whole new assembly at the local plumber supply store.Nothing in this package was of any use to install my new sterling bathtub.Even the metal parts were low quality plating started chipping and peeling right away.No matchcompared to what I bought at the plumbing store.Sorry Lasco.

Stopper is cheap plastic and does not seal. Unfortunately I had to install it to realize that it leaks so now I can't return it. Will have to try and find a replacement stopper that will work with the pvc fittings as they're cemented in place.
