This gadget is very helpful for getting in and out of a car. Very simple but effective.

I recently had a knee replacement and was struggling to get in and out of the car. I needed something to push down on as I stood up. This little better was perfect. Very strong and sturdy. I couldn't manage without it.

Fits my 2015 Corsa E, made by Opel/Vauxhall, may not fit the latest Peugeot versions, good solid fit in both across the doorway and sticking out of the doorway positions. Easy fit and removal, and doesn't make contact with the paintwork either. Usefulness is dictated by the positioning of the lock hasp on the doorframe, to low and it reduces the support that can be obtained in getting out, to high up the frame and again support is limited. Check the location of the lock hasp first to see if it is in the best position for your needs. I have noted some older reviews show a breakage where the metal goes into the plastic handle, however on mine the metal has been upgraded and is now thicker at that point so should be stronger avoiding breakage.

Really works! Makes it easy to get out of the car! Useful tool which is strong but not too heavy!

My husband has found this really useful. Leaving the car is so much easier now, with less strain on his knees and back. It also fits well in the door side pocket, when not in use.
