The dressing has a nice flavor. Unfortunately however, it's super sweet with SUGAR being the second ingredient. Because of the CORN SYRUP and the inclusion of EGG YOLKS in the ingredient list, we will not repurchase.

I bought this thinking it would be similar to the house dressing you find at most Japanese restaurants but it isn’t even close. I only ordered it because I can’t find it locally. It may have good flavor for some folks but if your goal was to find that particular restaurant house dressing, then no, save your money because they don’t refund this. I personally think this smells bad and the color is more of a brown than the pictures show. It says on the label that it’s found at Japanese hibachi restaurants and it may be an option there, but it’s not what’s on the house salad.

This stuff is delicious!!! I am a pretty plain Jane palette. Grew up on Ranch dressing. This is different and a little strange and sweet and sour at first but now I could eat it non stop! I bought it because I fell in love with a ginger dressing at a Japanese steak house restaurant. It is not exact as I think they made theirs....but it is still delish! Hope this helps!!!

Well, I was looking for that authentic in house type of ginger/sauce/dressing you get at your local Japanese or Chinese restaurant you get on that little side salad, Terry Hos is a bit to sweet for me and not like the dressing I was expecting, my rating is not to suggest it’s bad it’s just not what I was expecting it may be great for other people, and just to add, I think the price was a little bit high for a salad dressing, and also during shipping one of the lids was cracked on the bottle, I didn’t bother sending it back I just threw it out, not the best packing in this case!

This is nothing like the dressing served in Japanese restaurants. Instead of the usual orange color, it arrived brown—likely due to heat exposure during transport. The taste was disappointing, and I wouldn’t recommend buying it.

I originally found this Dressing at Walmart but I have not been able to find it for over a year now. All Asian restaurant ginger salad dressings vary, but this salad dressing tastes just like them. I would give the taste a 10/10. Nothing at my supermarket comes close to this dressing. I will mention the bottle I got looks darker than I remember. I could have sworn this was an "orangish" colored dressing, but I could be remembering wrong. The bottle I got is tan in color, it still tastes great. The texture is similar to a bbq sauce but it is sweet and savory, I would describe the taste as 70% ginger, 20% water, 5% carrot and 5% Peanut butter. Lastly is the price, in my opinion, it is too high. After taxes I paid more than 16 dollars for one bottle. I would estimate this bottle will last 6-10 salads. Due to the price its something I will buy sparingly but i still have to give this a 5 star. Its the only dressing i've had that tastes like the restaurants.

my fiancee and i love the japanese habachi places we've been to so i decided to give this a shot to try and make the salad at home. after it got here i tried it and it just did not have a good taste also the color was totally different. in the photo its a creamy looking orange-ish color but in person its a brown-orange color. while the color shouldn't have any bearing i bought this based on how the look of it compared to the dressing at the habachi places we've been to. i wont be using the rest of this so it was a waste of my money for something that just doesn't taste too good.

Could use more ginger for some people, but while I enjoy that ginger taste it's perfect for me. While I want more ginger per bite, a stronger flavor would creep up and ultimately ruin my salad before I finished it.
