They played with Geoff Turner and Steve Niles of the recently disbanded Gray Matter. Ian decided to leave and eventuallyformed Fugazi but the others carried on, and soon added Gray Matter guitarist, Mark Haggerty, and this line-up would become Three.Three did a few short tours, and recorded at Geoff's home studio as well as Inner Ear. Things were looking up for them, but the band selfdestructedshortly before releasing Dark Days Coming in November 1989. It warped and I have been looking for it ever since! I was so excited to find it at Amazon! The CD is much better than the tape. It includes additional songs from their demo. Swann Street is one of my all time favorite songs. Three is mello with a rough edge. Toad the Wet Sprocket meets Fugazi.
