For me personally, as an excellent secondary finishing shaver after a wet sandwich razor shave.
This is the second time I am buying this model of travel shaver(the first this time on Amazon). The first shaver lasted nearly 4 years. I was fully satisfied with it.I use it every day as a secondary follow-up shaver, after first completing my shave with a regular sandwich blade wet razor and thoroughly drying my face. I find it excellent to remove the left over shorter stubble, especially in the nooks and crannies around the nose and mouth, and also generally all over the face. In the end, you are left with the smoothest shave ever.I had to discard the first shaver because one of the two battery contacts - the negative pole contact of the battery slot on the left hand side after you open the case - broke.I found that the battery placed in this inner slot wasn't fitting tightly, resulting in a loose contact, and the shaver needed to be shaken every now and then to get it working again. I find this same defect in the new set which I have bought.Perhaps it was the constant vibration of the shaver working on the loose metal contact over a period of time which led to it snapping in my first shaver.I have solved the loose contact problem in the new shaver which I have just bought by placing a thin strip of transparent flexible plastic sheet over the two batteries before sliding the battery cover shut.I think the manufacturer needs to address the problem of the defective metal negative contact, as also the cover not fitting tightly over the batteries after it is slid shut.

Worth the money, better than expected.
Works much better than expected. I bought this as a travel razor but it works so well that it's now my stay-at-home choice for every day use. Here are a couple of things you need to know. When I first got it I used the supplied batteries that it shipped with and found it to be OK but not great - it seemed a little weak. Well, I thought that was normal for such a small razor since I had no point of comparison. Eventually I changed the batteries and was shocked by the much, much better performance. Apparently the supplied batteries were mostly discharged. I suggest using fresh batteries or, at least, trying fresh batteries to compare with the supplied batteries to see if they are good.I was a little concerned about how long the batteries would last and hesitated to buy a razor that wasn't rechargeable. I shouldn't have worried since I have been using it for months on the replacement batteries so they last a long time. One thing that's important to understand about electric razors (any of them) is that they really only work on short hair/stubble. If you go two days without shaving the individual hairs will simply get pressed down as you try to slide the razor across your face. The best way to use an electric razor is to shave every day or even twice per day. That might sound silly or annoying but since you don't need to wet your face and lather up with shaving cream to do it it's easy to do a quick one minute shave at night or whenever. If you go two days or longer the best is to use a regular razor or something like the Phillips Oneblade who's design cuts the hair off at the base rather than grinding it down completely. What I do is a regular wet shave with shaving cream once a week and this Panasonic for all the days in between. My skin is now completely free of razor burn/irritation.One point of comparison with the Phillips Oneblade - I found it worked pretty well but the blades wore out quickly and were expensive to replace. I've already made my money back on this Panasonic by not having to replace the blades. Also, I find I can shave quicker with the Panasonic and not have to go over the same spot as often. One other thing - I find the plastic blade cover always fell off on my suitcase - solved it with an elastic.
