Would fit two American Shorthair guinea pigs okay. A little pricey, but I would buy it again!
I got this for my American Shorthair female guinea pig. She fits through the opening nicely and has plenty of room to stretch out inside it. Two guinea pigs would probably be able to share it comfortably, but I don't know about two rabbits, unless they are small and really like to snuggle. It does require simple assemblage. Instructions are included as well as the necessary screws and such. It took me maybe 5 minutes to set it up. I ended up not putting in the hay rack as it seemed like it would be too much of a hassle to refill it and I usually just use a basket or something for her hay. Due to the design, the roof sits on it well without any glue or anything and this seems like it would make it easier to refill the hay rack if you decide to use it as you could just lift the roof off to refill it then simply place it back on with little to no problems. My female has not tried to climb on it so far and I am glad of this because although it is cute, the roof is not exactly smooth and I would be concerned about splinters. I like the multiple windows (and their design) as my girl likes to peek out them, but I don't have to worry about her getting stuck in them as there are bars on them. I am aware that she might be able to chew them up if she wanted to, but so far this hasn't been a concern for us. She hasn't really nibbled on it, she just uses it as a hideout. I also haven't had to clean it since I put it in her cage. I was initially a little hesitant to buy this due to the price, but it seems like a good investment so far. I posted a photo where you can kind of see it below the loft.

Cute but wish it were made a little better
This house is very cute and looks just like the picture. It is very splintery out of the box and I had to sand the whole thing. The side wall without the window is actually made of 2 pieces. Half attaches to the front and half to the back, and there is nothing connecting them in the middle.Assembly was fine. I ended up using a drill instead of the included screwdriver because some of the predrilled holes didn’t match. The window frames are already loose. Not sure how long those will stay on.I bought this house because it was cute and I liked the built in hay rack. However, in retrospect, I would probably pick a house without a hay rack there since I don’t want my bunny going potty in front of the house.

Nice bunny/guinea pig house
Nice bunny/guinea pig house. Arrived intact and complete with wood glue. Easy to put together. You can, as other reviewers have stated, leave out the 2 wood pieces that form the “hay tray” inside the left front corner of the house. The only downside is the phenol/wood-smell (not a bad smell, just a bit strong for the animals liking) that is kind of strong at first. I am letting the house off-gas outside for a few days, which I expect will reduce the smell. I am using the house as a “floor time” hideaway for guinea pigs, not as a permanent fixture in their C&C Coe closure, since it would take up too much of their running space.

Not a bad purchase but....
Not a bad purchase but it is smaller than it appears, even in the pictures other people posted. I knew it was small so I was fine with the size. I didn't put the hay rack in due to other people's reviews and now that I can physically see it I can see why people said not to. It does take up a lot of room for an already small item. It was very easy to put together. Overall I'm happy with the purchase.

Worth it
This comes unassembled, but it is not difficult to put together as it's just some screws and wood glue. My front piece came cracked but using the glue to stick it back together it's as good as new. This is one of the few bun houses that actually fits larger bunnies. A note on assembly, the back wall is put on with the small gap towards the top. If you put it on the other way the lid won't sit flush.I recommend leaving the hay rack portion off if you do have a bigger bun as that amount of hay storage isn't nearly enough for a larger bun anyways and it gives more room.

Awesome little house
The little house looks exactly like a picture. My bunny loves it. Two bad things is that the screws and glue it comes with is kind of cheap and the house fell apart. had to put it back together with other screws. Since it has a hay tray, it takes up a lot of space inside, so my bunny likes to get on the roof and it likes to chew it too. Overall, it’s a cute house and worth the purchase.

I liked it, but my rabbit was scratching off the bark on the roof making a mess along with chewing the actual house too. I had it in her pen inside the house.

Expensive firewood
I was unable to use this item at all. It arrived broken. The wood is very poor quality. The email on the paper included doesn’t work. I tried to contact the company through the webpage but the security code they wanted (“not a robot”) never worked so my message didn’t go through . And unfortunately I didn’t involve Amazon before my one-month return window passed (I didn’t try to put it together right away) so now I am out $35. Directly into the trash. Or we may repurpose for firewood.
