URO Parts 3B0122291B Heater Hose Connector

This connector worked perfectly to replace my melted heater or manifold hose on the back of the engine of my 2011 Audi B8 2.0t EA888 engine. The coolant flange melted and the connector on the hose also disintegrated. The hose is molded so I was looking at replacing the entire hose. This connector allowed me to leave the original hose in place and just replace the end of it. Fit perfectly.

Purchased for an Audi a4 B6 heater hose quick connector fit to the coolant flange. Perfect fit and resolved my severed coolant line. The o-ring needed to be pulled into place before installation. The hose connector side was 2mm thicker than the one that failed on me, (for the second time) so perhaps this one will last longer. To install I needed to remove the old factory metal ring which held the broken connector in place. To do this I used a dremel type clone, with a cut off disk and while the hose was still buried in the rear of the engine carefully positioned the cut off tool to cut through the ring. This worked pretty well, as there were lots of sparks, which abated when it was cutting the actual hose. To remove the ring, I used a small pick tool to losen and pull off the hose. I used this same pick tool to remove the broken connector from within the hose. I put a jubilee clip (hose clamp on the hose, and then inserted the connector. Before tightening I put the hose under the flange and moved things around so that it was properly aligned. Once tightened, I pulled the connector in place and engaged the locking clip.

Great product! Purchased only to use the O-Rings from the fittings. My plastic connections on my 3.0 tfsi Audi were found still in good shape during a complete engine reseal, but the O-Rings were flattened and unavailable individually from Audi. This is the cheapest fitting I could find with good quality seals which were used to replace the 4 seals in my engine bays cooling hose fittings. Audi only sells the fittings and hoses as complete assemblies for hundreds of dollars.

I cannot verify OE #s because my originals had been replaced. I also think it comes as an assembly only with 2 hoses and pre attached quick connects. This quick connect will replace your broken end on the drivers side of the back of the engine. This is part of the heater core hose on the engine side. This is confirmed on my 00 A6 2.7 and my 02 Allroad 2.7. Should fit all 2.7 from 99ish to 2005. Clip toward the center of the car.

Happy with the purchase, i bought this for my bmw e90 and this particular size which is NW16 will work at the base of the coolant expansion tank. If you need this part somewhere else on the coolant loop, just ensure that it is the same size as the expansion tank outlet. In terms of quality, the material is thick and durable.

Tutto perfetto

Bought this for my heater return line that connects to the bottom of my upper rad hose(that goes to oil housing amd radiator). Connected perfectly, no modifications required. Couldn't find this part anywhere else without the whole hose. This saved me a lot of trouble. Side note: make sure to use constant tension clamps on radiator hoses. Much safer than screw on clamps.

Anyone who has an s4 with the 4.2 this part won't be mentioned but it works for the heater core distribution hose on the back of the engine
