Irresistible to teething pup
These things smell horrible. Much worse than the worst bully stick. So be prepared for gagging. But they’re worth it and this is a repeat purchase. They are the only chew sticks that will distract and quiet my 4 mo old whippet pup in her crate every time. She is picky and the other 6 types of chews I give her, including bully sticks, do not always suit her 🙄. Luckily I have 2 other dogs who are more than happy to take them off her hands. But this works every single time. Does not last long but the peace it affords is well worth the price and odor.

Real Animal Esophagus
Product i just purchased left me with a good impression and the dogs loved them. They are real dried esophagus and at this size and count are a good deal currently. Sad these have become so expensive overall. Used to get these at local butcher shop as recent as 2019 fresh from the source by the pound was .89 cents. 4-5 bucks filled a small paper lunch bag and lasted a month+ for 2 dogs. I digress, the product itself is of good quality and your dogs will love how stinky they are. Rating is from my Dogs, Berger Picard (Max), English Lab (Cooper)

Bully sticks for dogs.
My pups really like these sticks and they keep them occupied for some time. I think it is good for their dental health, but I really cannot comment on the taste because I don't chew on them.

Disappointed, Leery; Do Not Buy.
I have easily spent near $400. the past 3 months purchasing the various Best Bully products for my 16 take-in/rescue dogs. BB. has done a very good job keeping teeth and gums healthy and clean of tartar. Other than some package counts being short, I and my paws kids have been happy with these products-until now. I was extremely disappointed upon opening each of these 4 bags of Gullet Sticks I ordered that I was not met with the usual expected product odor rather, the odor was that of rancid spoiled meat, of roadkill having lain for 2 days in mid-summer Okla.110 degree heat & humidity. They are being returned. The remainder of the several other types of items ordered, have the odor as expected and I believe are safe to feed. Hopefully this is an isolated incident, but now I am leery of this company and the safe consumption of its products as an incident such as this would indicate a problem in Product Quality Control. 13Mar18-Update. I sent a FYI Only email to Best Bully including all info (i.e. lot #, date, etc. all info the same for these 4 packages of Gullet Sticks). They where completely disinterested, informing me their products don't go bad, that I did not know what I was talking about and to go ahead and give to my dogs anyway. Also saying, because I returned these packages to Amazon, there was nothing they could do, no investigation to be done even though I had given them all package/product information. My purchases now are being made with Earth Animal as I can not trust the safety and quality of Best Bully products.

Good but don't last long
These bully sticks are just fine, but I did not realize before ordering that they were hollow. They clearly state that in the description, I just didn't read well enough. My dog can get through one of these in about 10 minutes (4 month old lab) vs. a regular bully stick that she can chew on for 30+ minutes. I just pack a couple instead of packing just one if I need to have something to distract her with. These would probably be great for a smaller dog or a dog that isn't chewing very heavily.

Always a Favorite for the Pups in Our House
I’ve been buying these for several years now and my dogs go absolutely feral for them. They’ve always been a treat they really love. I did notice that the last few batches seemed a little different, the texture was off and instead of being round, they were flat, more like beef jerky. That said, the awful smell (which they love) stayed the same and they still devoured them without hesitation. These are a staple in our house and one of the few things I keep on auto-renewal.

Stinky and they don’t last long...
I’d never heard of gullet sticks before but decided to try them with the 25 piece bag because they were much cheaper than the 25 piece bag of regular bully sticks. I thought, hey if she likes these then I won’t have to go broke buying bags of bully sticks anymore just to keep her busy. Well, my dog LOVES them like she loves most treats, but they don’t keep her busy more than 10 minutes or so before they’re gone. I may buy them again just because she loves them so much but not if I want a treat that will keep her busy for days like a regular bully stick. Plus, these stink even worse than your average bully stick. I mean, rancid rotten dead body. Who knew a cow’s esophagus could pack such a punch of stink??

My little dogs like these
My chihuahua and schitzu like these and they last a long time. The ends end up shredding and looking like tassels, which seems gross to me, but they like them best once they get that way. My dogs never seem to completely eat these, but they will lose interest once they get a quarter of the way through and will want new ones. It’s ok, though, it takes them 3 to 5 days of periodic chewing to get there.
