It's St Croix - not much more i can add. These pan fish rods are awesome for throwing lightweight lures - I have a 7' and a 9' version.

Easily breaks. Not quality like it used to be
The product was not quality made. It broke easily and in multiple places. Also the manufacturer shipped it in thin plastic. Don’t buy it unless you like returning it.

Amazing rod, but horrible shipping
These rods are fantastic!!! I mainly do inshore fly fishing and stick to Loomis. I got a few of these St. Croix panfish rods to take my kids out for small bass and bluegills, but keep them around for when I'm bored and go to the neighborhood lake. They'll make a 5" bass feel like a 40" redfish. I've been pairing them with a Shimano Sedona 500. 5 stars for the rod itself (5'0" ultralight). However, Amazon shipping is wildly incompetent. I ordered two more rods last month. One rod was delivered in a plastic bag with absolutely no packaging. It's a VERY thin one piece rod. Somehow it made it. However, the other rod did not show up because it was broken during shipping (go figure). It was sent directly back to Amazon. Supposedly they were going to send me a new one. Well, today I get a rod, which is actually in a box (with no padding). I open the box and inside was a BROKEN rod. The upper 8" of the tip was missing entirely. It was not loose in the box -- just completely missing. Did Amazon just throw the first broken rod in a box and send it back to me?? So here I am hoping to have a 3rd rod sent to me to replace the second broken rod. Hey Amazon, if you actually bothered to package rods before you ship them, you could sell them for half price and still make more money. Hopefully the 3rd one you send me is the charm...
