We were having a problem with feral cats and neighborhood cats out prowling at night so I thought I’d try these. Tracked the cats and animal in video and it worked with the cats for a few weeks but they seem to be getting used to them and not frightened as much anymore. However we had one Airbnb guest who jumped because of these and he was really startled and frustrated by the sound. He remarked about it and I worried it would affect people. His partner, however could not hear it. So I presume the sound is only really audible to some people. I’m not sure if I will keep these.
