2 Pcs Ultrasonic Animal Repellent Outdoor Solar Powered, Green

Bought our first Kittmip animal repeller two years ago to keep deer away from our Hosta landscape plants. It worked great for a radius of about 30 feet. As we expanded our landscape we had to find a way of protecting rose bushes and flower beds in other areas of our yard so we bought two more repellers. All my neighbors have given up on Hostas and flower beds because of aggressive eating by the numerous deer in my neighborhood. One of the new repellers stopped working after one week. I returned the defective repeller and got a replacement quickly from the vendor through the Amazon return process. So far the new repellers are working normally. I will update if any future issues.

Two months and it stopped working. The device was actually doing it’s job with all the cats around here then it just stopped working I have tried with customer service and you can’t type your problem they just throw out a bunch of questions that didn’t pertain to my issue

Literally it was a surprise to see one of my Airbnb guests get freaked out when I played back surveillance videos of the yard. We were having a problem with feral cats and neighborhood cats out prowling at night so I thought I’d try these. Tracked the cats and animal in video and it worked with the cats for a few weeks but they seem to be getting used to them and not frightened as much anymore. However we had one Airbnb guest who jumped because of these and he was really startled and frustrated by the sound. He remarked about it and I worried it would affect people. His partner, however could not hear it. So I presume the sound is only really audible to some people. I’m not sure if I will keep these. I need to make sure I get something that will keep the cats away permanently.

These things work well but I suggest you get the kind with the LED (strobe) light as well. This one has ultrasonic sound only.

This product does not work at all it is a gimmick do not buy! My dog and others have come up to it and urinated on it. If you want to deter people it can be heard by them and they have made comments about a though pitched noise they can hear.

We live in a suburban area of Houston and our security camera recently picked up a lot more wildlife traffic at night. Especially worrisome are raccoons, which have caused damage to our roof before. We see 2 or 3 every night, in addition to the usual possums and stray cats. Given our history with raccoons, I bought these Ultrasonic Animal Motion-Activated Repellent spikes, and planted them right where the animals pass by the house, about 3 to 4 feet away. After about a week, the verdict is in: they do not work. The camera clearly shows that animals are not bothered by the spikes at all. They just walk by them, totally undeterred. Raccoons, possums, cats or squirrels. A red sensor light appears, and a low noise can be heard, so the deterrents function. But they do not work, in the sense that they do not bother any of the animals that happen to walk right in front of them.

These ultrasonic sensors repellents appear to be effective when dogs attempt to defecate on my property. I was pleased with the results.

I've struggled with stray cats for years, they've destroyed my outdoor furniture, caused hell, and wake us up at night during their terror mating screams. I didn't know what to do. So I tried this, OMG! Why have I not bought it two years ago when my cushions were not used as a scratching pad.. it works, it works awesomely (if that's even a word).. it doesn't hurt the cats but as soon as the approach my sitting area, they get this sound that make them leave (not running but more like irritated with it). So Now, I've had it for 2 months and it trained the cats to avoid this house. Thank goodness! No more cats in my sitting area, no more cats screaming at night, seat cushions are still in good shape, and no paw prints on my car windshield every morning. So yes, it works. And it covers a decent area. You can turn it off when you want and no need to worry about charging it because it solar. And easy to clean too. Luv it.
