So far so good. Ive always wanted to wear crocks since i work as a swim instructor at a pool. The raised insoles have allowed me to doo that with slight modifications to my needs for my left foot that has a missing heel bone from a gunshot wound. Im now able to make it my everyday shoes since it has met my needs. I hope this company continues to make these. Up to now, i’ve had to go to podiatrist who would refer me to practitioners who specialize in foot adjustments but this has also been a good complement to my needs. Hope this helps with anyone who has a unique situation to mine.

Have been riding BMW motorcycles for the last 10 years. The two models I've ridden are a bit tall for me with a guy who has a 29" inseam. I have to be on my toes when backing out of my carport by duck walking the bike backwards. Not a secure feeling; but got used to it. You can get lower seats, which helps a bit, and/or lower the whole motorcycle by different expensive suspension kits - though that may lead to other issues. But even with the short seat - still much too tall for me. And then I read an advice column to get lifts for your motorcycle boots. Never even heard or thought of that. Well - it works! I don't use the extra lift/spacer that comes with this set, and only raise my feet 1.2". Now I can put BOTH feet flat on the ground when sitting on the bike. Amazing. Mind you, you need to at least wear over the ankle boots, for even the 1.2 inches really raise you inside the boot. It's a bit uncomfortable at first, but you get used to it. I have since ordered another brand of lifts that raises the feet only ONE inch, as the 1.2" may be a bit much. (We shall see once they arrive). What an inexpensive way to solve short rider issues! Short motorcyclists....take note (and rejoice)!

It took me a few days for my feet to get used to the padding of the soles and unfortunately if you already have feet pain don't expect these to solve anything. Also took some time to get used to the new height, as my body had to adapt to the change. However, this is a minor concern that fades away quickly once you become accustomed to the lifts. Overall, they are well-designed, durable, and provide the perfect amount of height enhancement. If you're looking for a discreet and comfortable solution to elevate your height, I highly recommend giving these shoe lifts a try.

Do what they should and cushion

I have bought many inserts since my total knee replacement left my 1 leg lengthened by almost 2 in. This product is by far the best insert I've purchased. Thank you so much for such a great insert. No need for adhesive and it doesnt move around in the shoe. 10 stars.

The description states check depth of shoe before purchase but I was swayed by all the positive reviews... I purchased these for my husband, who owns a pair of high end "dress" leather sneakers that have an utterly flat sole. He doesn't need lifts to appear taller. When wearing the flat sneakers on Casual Fridays, the hem of his pants drag on the floor a bit since his other work shoes he wears have a slight heel. Imagine a pair of black men's loafers or any other dress work shoe - they have a bit of a heel. We hoped this might be a solution for the abrading and ultimate fraying that will happen if his pant hems keep dragging on the concrete. The dress sneakers in question are not shallow sneakers like Converse, they're pretty deep. After reading all the positive reviews I decided what the heck, lets give this a try. Oy, what a mess. To say the product did not fit is an understatement. I can't imagine this working in anything other than combat boots/high tops/cowboy boots. At the very least, these will prevent you from wearing your current shoes. My husband opined that the only way to be sure these would fit, would be to take them along when shoe shopping and try them in larger size shoes. Go ahead and guess the likelihood of my husband toting these along to the mall and whipping out a pair of lifts in front of strangers to try on with shoes. He would sooner fray the hem of every single pair of pants he owns.

Unfortunately, I don’t have a great review to give here. Maybe these lifts work only with sneakers….tried them in low boots with plenty of room inside and had to take them out within an hour. Really uncomfortable. I guess I’ll give them a try with sneakers, but initial feelings - won’t wear them again

More ideal for a boot, but it can work with a high ankle running shoes. Only concern is the very strong chemical smell-it doesn't smell good. Otherwise, the product works well.

I just received the Burlingham's 2 inch shoe lifts. Just so people know, in measuring the lift from the back of the heel, it is not quite 2 inches and with any weight on the lift, the lift will compress down to at least 1 1/2 inches. (Note: I simulated weight on the lifts by just mild compressing the lift with my fingers so the actual compression and loss of height may actually be far more with one's full weight on the lifts). I have not put them in my shoes and cannot comment on their comfort or how they might squish further over time. It's misleading advertising on the part of this company to say that one will gain 2 inches in height if these lifts are placed in shoes.
