I have an iPhone 7plus with an otter box case which make the phone thicker and wider. This mount will secure a phone even bigger than than. Has fold out base, the two clamps, and essentially a rubber band to secure the phone to the mount from all four corners. Very easy to use. I have taken it on a rocky trail but nothing extreme yet. The mount had not problem keeping my phone attached and positioned the way I left it. The only minor problem I have is the tightening screw for the handle bar is very long and can interfere with the motion of the phones swivel and needs tightened more than the rubber grips like ( it will bend out of the originally holding and bulge out) but otherwise works well. Doesn't look half bad either, little bulky but also for bigger phones assumingly.

I absolutely love my Sudion Bike Mount Holder, but I have to admit, I do not use it for a bike. Instead, I have searched high-n-low for the perfect bedside iPhone holder and this was my greatest solution. I have a minimalist LED floor lamp, attached the bike mount to the pole and my phone is now in the perfect place right next to my bed (and I can charge it in its position) !

I used this phone holder twice on the road bike. This thing broke off during my ride under normal conditions and my phone fell to the ground. Thankfully the phone did not break but if it broke on my road biking trip I can NOT imagine this being good for a mountain biking at all!

I mounted this holder to my road bike easily. However...... After about a half a dozen rides, the stem broke off just below the ball, and sent my cell phone skidding across the road. This was on a road bike, with minimal bumps and vibrations I would not recommend this product to anyone.

I got this as a replacement for a previous item that snap at the mounting bracket. This has a more stable design, doesn't slip on handle bars. Phone is held securely by straps and side arms. The only issue I have had with this item is where the phone mount connects with the handle bar mount. Going over rough terrain can jar the phone mount loose from the handle bar mount.

Very simple but it is effective. I do wish the bolt stayed tighter around the handle bars, it has to be tightened every other time or so but overall for the price it works great.

It took a long time to figure out how to put it together but it works great and holds my phone tightly after I finally got it clipped on correctly

While riding on a bumpy, paved road, the plastic ball joint arm snapped off, flinging my phone to the pavement. The Phone did stay in the holder, which kept it from breaking. The functionality of the holder is good, but I returned the broken device to Amazon. Disappointed.
