This is a perfect case for your 17” laptop!
You want to talk ample room? This case has it in spades! I dare say you could carry two laptops and a tablet. I happen to know this as I have tried it and it worked without a hitch. The laptops were sandwiched in padded slips as was the tablet. It wasn’t stuffed or overly full. On top of this capability is all the pockets on want one side and another single large pocket on the opposite side. Clearly this is a very versatile laptop case. Between the inner laptop/tablet storage to the exterior pockets which are ample in size make this case a real serious contender for your portable computing needs on the go. You can find other cases that hold a lot, but this case defies it’s size and does so with a very distinct look I happen to like a great deal. You may also like it to if you are inclined to like tactical inspired cases. It comes in more than one color so it has appeal for more than just people who like black cases. Choices are excellent. I’m a very happy owner. You can be also.

New carry-on bag
I was looking for a carry-on sized bag with reasonable space and storage. This bag almost fit the bill. I added a small side tactical snap-on pouch for organization. I now have a reasonable amount of storage and organization. It also fit under my airline seat. It easily fit my ipad, documents, and cords but still has room for a water, book and all of my other junk.

Tactical Briefcase is Sturdy, Roomy
While only time will tell about the sturdiness of this briefcase, it certainly appears and feels sturdy, made of thick, water-resistant nylon. The only reason I have rated it down to a 4 - should really be a 4.5 - is due to the design, and this is due to my own preferences and experience. For over a decade I had a smaller nylon briefcase that finally wore out. Anyway, during that time I became used to one easy to open main compartment. It had one handle and the main compartment was easily unzipped to open a space that could fit an old sized laptop. This briefcase will take a little getting used to, for me, as it has two handles that straddle a main compartment that can be accessed though two zippers. When the two zippers are unzipped, you can remove the central nylon tab from one end as it is held to that side by Velcro. Thus, it opens to a main compartment - but not all the way open. It is not like a typical, say, suitcase where you can lay it on its side and open the top and put things in the central compartment. Instead, it is like a file folder - you don't lay it on its side, you instead open it from the top and slide your laptop or other materials inside. The two handles do come together and are held in place by another Velcro strap fastened on one handle which has a patch of nylon that wraps around the other handle for easy carrying. All of this means that if you want to access your laptop or whatever is in the main compartment in a hurry, you first have to undo the Velcro holding the two handles together and then unzip one or both of the zippers to the central compartment and perhaps then remove the nylon tab held in place by Velcro at one end and the two zippers on either side. So, not real quick access. On one side of this briefcase are four differently sized and shaped compartments either held together by Velcro, a zipper, or a strap with a fastener. These all become very useful - you just have to remember where you put what. On the other side of this briefcase is a side pocket held together by Velcro. This is very handy for inserting documents, mail or other such material.Back to the main compartment. For those who remember the old days back before there was an actual laptop, there was a luggable. Picture something about the size of seven or eight of today's laptops stacked on top of each other only longer and weighing about fifteen pounds or so. Anyway, this central compartment could hold a luggable from days of yore.As I have had no need to fill this briefcase to capacity, I have not witnessed how large it would be when fully loaded. Thus, I do not know if, in such occasion, it would fit under a passenger seat though it should fit in the upper compartment of an airplane. With today's size laptops, with all the various accessories, (thus using the case somewhat deflated) there should be no problem in this being a carryon. The case does a fairly good job at standing up on its own but this will depend upon what you have in it and how it is packed. Four rubber nobs acting as "feet" on each of the four corners on the bottom of the case would probably help,The adjustable strap is nice and has a wide shoulder pad that can be adjusted by sliding it up and down the length of the strap.Yes, despite its two handles, lack of opening all the way to reveal the central compartment and the lack of quick access, I would still recommend this case as these drawbacks are based on my own perception.

Awesome
I noticed someone said this bag can't hold a 15.6" laptop, well it holds my 15.6 gaming laptop just fine plus the cinder block sized power adapter, all cables, 2 external hard drives, tablet, phone, boogie board, gaming mouse, with room to spare no problem. I have to mobile since I'm an architectural designer, single dad with kids who still in high school. I had all my office stuffed in backpack not even remotely suitable for holding a laptop safely and trashed one external hard drive because stuff bounced around and broke the cable in the hard drive to the point I can't get it out. At my age I'm kinda tired of lugging up a 50 to 60 lb. Backpack up and down stairs all day at office especially after 2 tours in Afghanistan. It just arrived today and was amazed at how much it held and doesn't feel nearly as heavy as backpack did. Will update this if anything changes but for the price I could not beat it and my boys agree after seeing it fully loaded and lifting it themselves. If anyone wonders why use a gaming mouse it's because I'm right handed and my hand had a piece of shrapnel go through it in Afghanistan and cupping my hand cause extreme cramps in it now so the gaming is perfect because I can adjust how my hand sits on it. Downside is it's a wired mouse but I don't get the lock up cramps that almost ended my career. Great bag, laptop fits as I said but it's a little close but nothing I'm worried about, otherwise it's completely perfect for work and in the field. As for the strap breaking which I've read about before buying I would recommend invested in a couple of metal d-rings and add them as extra reinforcement for the plastic ones. Sorry but military experience has taught me plastic isn't beating metal in this area. Did that mod to every pack since then. Thank you!

Bag of Holding, Holds It ALL
This tactical laptop case is an absolute beast! It easily held two laptops, chargers, an iPad, and even my Xbox Series X. The compartments are well-padded and thoughtfully organized, making it easy to access everything I need on the go. The build quality is top-notch, durable, sturdy, and designed to withstand the rigors of travel through an airport. The zippers and straps feel secure, giving me peace of mind that my gear is protected. Whether I’m traveling for work, gaming, or just need a reliable storage solution, this case delivers. Highly recommend for anyone who needs maximum capacity and rugged protection in one package!

excellent daily bag
I have been using this bag since 2021 for daily school use, traveling around the country, and I even took it on a 6-week international trip. It has held up very well. It fits so many accessories: I have a cooling stand, headphones, tablet, SSD, usb hub, game controller, extra cables. It carries everything I need to work or play with my laptop.

PERFECT BAG!!!! Not big or bulky but fits everything you need.
This review is for the 15.6 GES tactical briefcase, I absolutely love this bag!!! I purchased it for work and didn't want something to big and bulky but can still hold everything. In the top compartment I fit my 15.6 laptop, 12.9 iPad pro, & and my leather portfolio with note book, paperwork, pens & etc. The top as 2 well made zippers that can be unzipped separately to get into each compartment which is nice but I tied a piece of paracord to them so I can zip them both in 1 pull. Side compartment fits another notepad, pens, flash drives, stapler, screwdriver, extra masks, and still has room for more. 4 smaller side compartments fit laptop charger, regular chargers, wireless mouse, and power bank... I can't stress how perfect this bag is. Not super big and bulky but big enough to fit everything I need.I work on construction sites & I snagged mine pretty bad (my fault) still usable but I will be buying 2 more when I can. All of my coworkers that have seen my bag want it so I sent them the Amazon link for this GES 15.6. So they know they are getting the same good quality bag.

Great deal!
I really like this it has lots of pouches and space.Personally, I won’t be using it for a laptop but it’s excellent for travelling with documents and all the other bits you need. Recommended.

Overpriced, overhyped
Looks like a cheap bag. Overpriced.

Seems solid after a short time so far
Got it, and proceeded to stuff it with my work accouterments, transferring them from my ancient old 'bush briefcase'.Also, really happy with the size, and location of the pockets on the outside, that are exactly what I wanted for pen storage (paint pens; sharpies; felt tip markers etc. I carry a *LOT* of these).Really happy so far with the stitching quality, and the zip quality. One issue is, I'm not sure it will take a decent size 15" laptop, and it would have been nice if it was a couple of centimetres longer, so I could fit larger folders in too.So far so good, 4.5 stars.
