Works great and NO flat tires - just don't leave on shore!
I bought this to replace one just like it. A group of us took off from a certain spot...I put my scupper hole cart on the back of my yak...my son left this one he was using on shore in the bushes off to the side. Someone must have been watching because it was gone when we returned an hour later. Our fault...I thought about saying something at the time but didn't want to second guess our son. Bottom line...unfortunately, you can't trust people to be honest anymore. We ended up piling 2 yaks on my one cart and heading back about 3/4 mile..... lesson learned.

Great little cart for the money- only a couple flaws
The rack held up my garage built skiff (40” wide” with no real issue but I’ll list the issues I had with it.1. The pins that hold the wheels to the metal rods are a liability. They’re a pin with a ring that you place through the rod the wheel goes on and you flip the ring down to lock the pin into the rod. I installed the pin as it’s pretty self explanatory and without much force on it had one pop off. I couldn’t find it and being on the water I was in a pinch so I put a zip tie through the same whole, and issue solved, it kept the wheel on. Sucky part, that renders the mobility of taking the cart apart not useful so I just loaded the cart as is and it fits my boat fine2. The strap to wrap around the cart and to your vessel doesn’t have a specific location on the cart. You basically weave the strap through the cart frame then strap it around your boat, which can get the straps wrapped around the wheels if you don’t get it positioned right. All in all even with the small issues that could be fixed or adjusted yourself, I like this cart. The joints you fold to break it down or open it up are spring loaded and it has feet that fold out to give it a proper stance so you can load it level. I’m not regretting this sub-$50 purchase at all. It helped move my skiff with payload over bumpy, grassy terrain with no issues. I even had to turn the vessel around in grass and sand and the boat never came off and the wheels didn’t get stuck.I’ll follow up with some provisions to cure this racks issues later.

Good Cart But Add Your Own Straps
The cart feels sturdy and I like the hard rubber, non-inflatable tires. The solid rubber makes them a little heavy but no worries about them going flat.As others have said, the one little strap that's provided is pretty useless. Add your own straps, one that loops over the kayak around the front edge of the cockpit rim and a second that loops behind the cockpit. The photos provided by another reviewer are a great way to go. Straps with hooks on the ends also work well - just hook each end of the strap to either side of the carts frame. One minor negative is that it appears some of the hardware is stainless steel but some is not. The clips that hold the wheels on are not. If you use the cart around salt water you'll want to rinse well to minimize rust.

Makes moving Kayaks so much easier!
So easy to pop the wheels on and go - less than a minute! We live right across the street from the waterfront on a lake. We thought it would be easy to drag or carry the kayaks a short distance to enjoy them... not so much! This cart has made all the difference for us. We bought one for each kayak. Haven't tried two kayaks on one cart yet, but they are very sturdy. I took the advice of another person and turned the "kickstand" the other way to keep it from bumping the uneven terrain between our house and the lake (causing it to collapse forward) and that worked great. And we never have to worry about a flat tire, the wheels are a sturdy rubber (not plastic/not inflatable). Straps are independent of the cart so you can strap it tightly any way you wish, shift the weight of the kayak to suit your need.

Lightens the load!
This caddy was everything we hope it would be. We have 2 kayaks and a canoe up in the Adirondacks and in previous years have carried them from the boathouse over rough terrain down a long path to the lake. Having the caddy made the process much quicker since we didn’t have to take frequent rest breaks. The wheels are sturdy and the stand made it easy to load the boats. The strap provided held each one in place securely even over tree roots and rocks. We had our doubts when it came to the much heavier canoe but had no issues. We decided to leave the caddy up in the mountains at our vacation home and will be ordering a second one for our permanent home by a lake in North Carolina.

Used, scuffed product
I received the item, and it was very clearly used and returned. The product is scuffed up in several places.
