This is a great design and size for backyard chicken owners raising 4-6 chicks. It measures 18" high X 36" long X 12" wide. Perfect size to set on a shelf tidy and out of the way! With this box clean up is a breeze. Many other manufaterurs do not think about this when designing their product. But we use these boxes here on our own farm and know how important this feature is. The frame detaches from the base for easy cleanup. The bottom is made of plastic foam board that wipes clean after every use. The frame is made of screen secured with treated lattice. And the base is handcrafted using reclaimed lumber and scrap plastic foam board. Even better, the pine shavings are a by-product of ripping the lumber used! Easy on the ENVIROMENT!
