If you like the Grid, get this expansion map
We enjoy Power Very much and bought this before we even played Power Grid. It turned out to be a great investment, $18 at the time. If you've already been playing Power Grid you know you already have more than one strategy to win. The new map makes everyone adjust their strategy for the original map because it creates new opportunities and limitations. It's a different map that changes your strategy, so I can't complain about something that makes a great game more re-playable. If you enjoy Power Grid, don't hesitate to pick up this map. You will make the game different enough to keep you coming back to the game.

Power Grid Benelux/Central Europe expansion is a good buy.
Our Boardgames & Beer group have played original Power Grid, France & Italy expansion, and the Benelux/Central Europe expansion so far. I think France/Italy is our favorite, with the US map on the original game and then Benelux/Central Europe. They're all good, but France/Italy brings the most interesting variations so far. Benelux is good though for it's compact building map while Central Europe adds the nukes vs no-nukes variant.

Great Expansion
I bought this expansion because of the interesting dynamics it bring to the game Power Grid. The Benelux board is a great one to play for a 2 player game. It goes kind of fast because it is smaller. Honestly, I have not played the Central Europe side of the board, but it has an interesting twists with Poland and Austria not allowing nuclear power plants to be built in those countries. So, I look forward to playing it soon. Each Power Grid Expansion Board has its own different twist to make each one related to those countries in the real world. As a result, each board provides many new and different challenges.

Fun expansion
Benelux is slightly shorter than the originals maps and a little easier for teaching people the game. Central Europe is also fun but benelux is the better map of the two.

Almost there
Despite all of the Powergrid items I ordered being shipped from Amazon, for some reason this was shipped separately. It wasn't shipped in a separate box, but was instead shrink-wrapped and in an Amazon box. It wasn't severely damaged, but a corner was bent and slightly crinkled. It doesn't affect gameplay at all, but it is a cosmetic defect.
