Design Engineering 010111 Exhaust/Header Wrap Kit with Hi-Temp Silicone Coating Spray - Tan Wrap/White Spray

Habe had this wrap installed on performance headers for about year and a half now. Have not seen any aigns of wear or malfunction. Make sure you protect all of your skin when using this product, little fiber dust is very contagious.

After smoking period ended, I did like the look of the product. Even used the black paint to finish the look on the exhaust. It had two rolls and plenty of steel straps to make up for mistakes. Watch videos online and remove exhaust if you can. I did not and felt like it took longer to install than needed. Took bike for a 1 hour ride twice before smoking stopped. Happy with results even though it does not seem to help with the heat the same as a heat shield did.

This wrap was easy to install. Make sure to wear long sleeves and gloves if you don’t like the feeling of fiberglass. The metal securing ties that came with it were not enough for a set of headers that required multiple starts and stops so I would recommend getting another package.

It definitely helped decrease the amount of heat in the engine bay and decreased the amount of heat soak in the engine. Works as advertised.

This kit was enough to do both headers and the Y pipe on my SBC. I needed more straps than what was supplied, that may have been due to my lack of experience. The product was really easy to use. Coating did what it is supposed to do. The picture is after 1000 miles of driving. They look so much better than the headers had looked.

Used this to wrap the tailpipes on my LS swapped Trans Am to keep radiant heat away from my closely positioned fuel pump, this stuff works well and the kit was great quality. I'd recommend it without issue.

This item came as described, great kit. Has more than enough wrap to do a set of V8 headers. I have used this stuff in the past and they have changed the way it is made so that there are not as much fiberglass fibers flying around when you are using it. Make sure you wet the roll down in warm water for a few minutes before wrapping, when you are all done and it dries out, you will have an extremely tight and professional looking wrap job.

I ordered this product to rewrap the pipes on my motorcycle. Went on as expected. It even came with the little goofy tool for the stainless steel bands. I actual found it less effective that just using some needle-nosed pliers. I would definitely buy again.
