I lost my Vizio tv power cord during moving and this has been a life changer. It works perfectly. It has great heat resistance and the cord is thick and durable. I wish it was a little longer but it works for the set up I have.

I just finished my testing and here's what I found. The cord straight out of the packaging has no memory meaning if you uncoil it and toss it out onto the floor it will just immediately lay flat instead of the usual folded up memory stiff cord, so it is much more limp and flexible than a standard cord which is actually quite nice. There is Absolutely No UL, CE or any other European or American safety standards whatsoever at all on this cord which is quite concerning. My next test utilized what's called a Hipot tester which is used to check insulation breakdown from voltage, so the ground conductor is grounded and the other two conductors I applied 1500 VAC for two seconds and there was no arcing at all so I repeated the test five times and each time I rewound the cord in different ways and it passed every time. So in conclusion this is an 18gauge cord only suitable for light loads not toaster ovens, space heaters, induction cooktops or even a large crockpot and it is not safety rated so as long as you don't push it electrically (Overload) or Physically (pinch or smash) it will most likely be just fine in my opinion.
