Let me start by saying I have been interested in this mod since the first time I saw it. I finally took the plunge and bought the Hansshow unit, they have produced a ton of cool products for Tesla’s and this mount doesn’t disappoint. I’ll have to admit I was a little apprehensive to remove the MCU but mount came with color instructions that were easy to follow and listed all the tools I needed to get the job done.The mount is constructed of anodized aluminum and preassembled. After getting everything mounted and tightening up the bolts that provide resistance there are no shakes or rattles and the trim finish makes it look very clean.The mount drops the screen about 2 inches and allows for side to side swivel. I like to keep the screen angled towards myself, this provides a more driver centeric experience and reminds me of my Honda S2000. Everything is so much easier to reach with accuracy.

Great fit, best upgrade in the car by far. Took some time to install it, but it was easy and I was being extra cautious. Looks great. The smallest gap in the panel like some other reviews said, I think I could have made it perfect but it wasn’t an issue. It’s not visible from either front seat unless you peer over the edge and look for it.

I finally found time to install this kit. I watched the Video that they have a QCR link for. I also watched other Videos on YouTube just to make sure.1. It took me 2 hours to install2. The tools provided are not adequate. I ended up buying a whole new set of Socket Wrench and used my own Allen wrench tool, as the ones provided does not fit to remove the SCREEN from the bracket.3. The fitting sucked and it looked like a 10 year old put this together. I tried my hardest to make it fit but it just wouldn't SEE PICTURES)4. I had to find screws to install the cover to the Air Sensor and it does not fit to the CASING that they provide. Its basically having lose in the casing.The only positive thing I can say, is I definitely like the TILT Screen and how organically you look at it when you drive. The ease of going through the controls while tilted is a plus. I just ordered another one NOT a HANSSHOW, but the kit looks so much better and way cheaper Thant this one.5. BUY AT YOUR OWN RISK. There is an extra plastic casing thats supposed to serve as an extension to the casing if it doesn't fit well. But no instructions on how to attached the extension. And the pre-drilled holes were so uneven and one of the two holes were drilled on the edge making it useless.

Installed this on my M3P. Installation is pretty easy….just watch a YouTube video. It is amazing to me that Tesla does put a swivel on the screen out of the factory. This swivel works very well. It gives the driver more of a “cockpit” feeling. The screen is easier to see and interact with as it can now actually face the driver. My only complaint is that the plastic cover is kind of wonky and does mate up with the dash perfectly. I’ve got a small gap on the top and a gap on the right side. I tried everything to make sure I didn’t have an installation issue and am confident that I have everything in correctly. This “gap” issue is minor because nobody really looks behind the screen anyway and the benefit of being able to swivel the screen outweighs any negative by a long shot. This has been my best upgrade so far.

** If you are adept with small repairs and general hardware installs then this is easy **The install was quite easy, but you must be patient and expect a little challenge. I don’t say this to make it seem difficult because it really wasn’t; the video from the QR code in the instructions was easy to follow. You just have a naturally small work area and it’s on the bottom side of the screen so, again, it’s not in a very easy position. But aside from that, it was easy to remove (just a few screws) and install. I suggest working from the passenger side as much as possible.The most difficult part will be re-installing the screen because, although it can technically support the weight unbolted, the bracket will have to be maneuvered a bit to accommodate the bolts; I suggest sitting in the driver seat to set the screen back in position, as the left bolt will be easier to set first. No matter whose tools you use (yours or the ones included) it’s going to be a tight space to work and you SHOULD NOT use power tools. Hand tighten everything so all bolts are not over torqued.Be prepared for the screen to be about 2 inches below its former position. This is a plus in my opinion. Also, be sure to tighten/loosen to new bracket to your desired fitment before finishing up because once it’s complete you can’t readjust on the fly.

Although it works, it doesn’t fit flush on my model Y. I have half a mind to return it being OCD this is bothering me a lot
