I bought these trace mineral drops purely to improve the flavour of my water, not for electrolytes. I recently installed a reverse osmosis (RO) system because I wanted to reduce things commonly found in tap water such as plastics, hormones, PFAS/“forever chemicals,” and overall water hardness. While my RO system does include a mineral re-mineralisation stage, I still found the water tasted very flat and unenjoyable — especially as I’m quite sensitive to flavour and used to tasting differences in water. This was the first product I tested specifically to bring some life back into RO water, and I’ve been pleasantly surprised. I use a very small amount — roughly 1 to 2 drops per 100 ml (sometimes closer to 1.5 drops). At that level, the effect is subtle but noticeable. The water still tastes clean, but it no longer feels flat or boring. There’s a gentle background mineral character that makes it far more enjoyable to drink. The minerals come from the Great Salt Lake in Utah, and while I have seen independent analyses showing trace amounts of elements like arsenic or lithium, these are extremely minute levels — far lower than what you’d get from everyday foods like rice. For me, this isn’t a concern, especially at the tiny dose I’m using. I want to be clear: I did not buy this for electrolyte supplementation. I get enough electrolytes from food. I bought it solely to improve flavour, and for that purpose it works very well. Because I use such a small amount, this bottle will likely last me a year or more, so the cost per use is negligible. Overall, if you’re using reverse osmosis water and find it too flat or unpleasant, I’d definitely recommend trying this. It keeps all the benefits of RO water while making it genuinely enjoyable to drink again.

I love this product. It has a very strong flavour and my partner hates it, but I love it in sparkling water from the sodastream. Make it taste like mineral water. I would not put this in flat or tap water - the flavour will put you off. Plus they contain lithium and I'm sure that's why I've been a bit more together lately mentally. No magnesium so they do not contain all electrolytes, but you will get a good amount of important trace minerals anyways.
