I’ve been really enjoying Applied Nutrition’s Cream of Rice. It’s become a really convenient way of getting my carbs in without having to prepare a full meal. Poor an inedible- returns are impossible, not great as i do enjoy and use their other products

I have tried several cream of rice brands on here lately,and this is how i list them in terms of the best; 1.Applied nutrition golden syrup or Apple or any of them really(toffee biscuit contains skim milk powder so not sure about that)this one mixes fast and really well in hot water,lovely texture,the syrup is very golden syrup like,the apple crumble very authentic,for me the best on amazon. 2.olimp vanilla cream of rice;this was my favourite,again mixes well in hot or cold water,really quick,texture slightly different this can be a bit like a thin mashed potato or if made runnier it is like a soft scoop ice cream,only at room temp,but either way i like it alot,very nice vanilla flavour and great value. 3BULK cream of rice;it's in between on the 2 above texture is good but not great,bit gritty,but the flavour good and easy to make,like alot of bulk products it's a good option but not the best. the one i have to mention is cnp cream of rice,this for me is the worst i've tried,the mixture is so runny unless you use about 50g(2 scoops) in the water,and at that point it's nearly 40g of carbs,the cherry bakewell has a real not nice,cheap fruity flavour,and i daren't try the others s i suspect similar,not for me at all these other 3 are far better. The one star off this is if you buy the 2kg one you get it in a tub more than double the size needed to hold the poder,it's silly,if you buy the 1kg it is in a handy resealable bag,but again 2kg for 11 pounds when on offer is superb value.

Very difficult to mix without getting lumps. Nasty after taste of what I assume is artifical sweetners. Tried it twice ,then in the bin.

Very good quality cream of rice. I use it before the gym and it gives solid fuel for training. The brand is reliable, but stock is often limited. Flavors are not very strong and reviews are mixed, yet the product itself performs well.
