Hit or miss on getting a good one
I'm on my third order for this power supply, and I'm never sure if I'll get a good one or not. My wife's Acer Laptop power supply died, so I was pleased to find this replacement. The first unit I purchased worked fine for over a year, then it suddenly started getting very hot while it was charging her Laptops battery. I ordered a replacement power supply that worked great for a really long time, but the cable that plugs into the Laptop became broken at the connector because my wife always had a sharp bend in the cable due to the power supply being on the opposite side of the Laptop from the charging port while she was sitting on the couch. When the last power supply arrived, it worked fine for a couple weeks, but then it intermittently started getting hot when charging the battery. It doesn't do it all the time, so we're trying to determine if there's something we're doing that's wrong. But so far we can't find a thing.

much better than the original power adapter
I gave my 87 yr old mom an older acer laptop computer so she could look at the family pictures on facebook. One day it would not power up. Mom was so upset. She thought she could never see the family newsfeed again. I couldn't afford to buy her another laptop so I googled the acer problems and found out that the "right angled" power plug that plugs directly into the laptop was no good and a dumb design. Other customers had complained that theirs stopped working and to just buy the replacement one that plugs straight into the laptop without the curve. So the replacement power adapter that I bought from this seller worked immediately. You can trust this seller. He saved me a huge amount of money that I didn't have to waste...not that grandma wasn't worth it. This power adapter is a very reasonable cost. Highly recommend this seller. I got the plug in two days too, free shipping with amazon prime.

Keeps losing connection
This charges my laptop, but it flickers off and on. Not sure if there's a wire loose somewhere or if it's overheating or what. I just know it's pretty useless to have a charging card that flips off and on. I also don't know if it causes any damage to my battery or laptop when it literally flips off and on constantly for more than a minute. I end up unplugging it so it doesn't mess up my laptop and I don't have to listen to the incessant beeps.

Defective tip. Poor connection. Charges intermittently
The tip on this charger does not make solid contact to the charging port in the laptop. You must turn it and wiggle it to make a connection. Even then, the connection fails again and you need to fiddle with it --again. Not good if you are concentrating on your work and have no time to keep checking the charger connection. Bad quality when compared to the original charger that came with my Acer laptop.

No need to rely on the battery!
Adapter is exactly as pictured and exactly what I needed. If I want to use the computer in another location I can leave the original power source plugged in so I don't have to crawl under the desk to unplug the computer then crawl back under to plug it back in! I don't need to rely on the battery with this adapter! Good to have backup!. Great product, service, and price! Thank You, Susan

This is a great value!
My Acer laptop started beeping at various times, usually the middle of the night. It never dawned on me it was the same tone when you unplug it, as it sits in my bedroom next to the bed. I always leave it plugged in. Well the old power block finally gave up and I started looking for a replacement. This is the one I picked and I'm very happy with the purchase. I prefer the straight plug on this rather than the 90 degree original. Great product at a fantastic price. Just buy it!

Don’t do it, just get a branded replacement
Less than a year out the plug part on the wall side where the power supply connects to the cord broke. It’s like the little pin in there wasn’t connected well to the board or something because it stopped working intermittently and finally started making pooping and shorting sounds and then just stopped working altogether. Thankfully I was able to get my school data off of it before it died. Have not replaced the cord yet. Word to the wise, probably best just to pay out for a brand replacement rather than cheap out on a knockoff replacement...

made good but DOES NOT FIT its a loose connection and it is made for the laptop I have,but its still not made correctly or else it would have a snug fit like the older one that I have.save yourself money don't not waste your time buying.
