My wife ordered this flat iron. Below is her review of this product. I am no flat iron expert but I think this is an excellent product. My hair is naturally wavy (straight after a wash) therefore I do not need to use straight iron daily. Whenever I use this iron, it does a fabulous job of styling my hair. I use it as a flat iron and a curling iron (with you-tube’s aid) and get good results. First let’s talk about shipping and delivery. Shipping was quick and the package was delivered in a timely manner and was very well packaged. I was a little skeptical of buying this because of low price but once I started using it I realized it’s as good as the chi iron I was using earlier. It is well made with curved edges (helps in use as a curling iron ) , multiple heat settings, a good LED display and a very useful feature auto shutoff.The auto shutoff feature is a huge relief for someone like me who often forgets to check if the devices are switched off before leaving the house.When I used it for the first time I didn’t read the instruction manual and got good results. The next time I used it, I read the instruction manual which is full of useful tips, specially related to the temperatures settings for different hair types and those instructions made a huge difference! My hair was styled better, looked better, felt so much better and in less time too! Only one thing, the description says ceramic iron, but it doesn’t feel like ceramic iron. Though it works very well, probably as good as a ceramic iron, I am not sure if it is ceramic. Having said that, I feel this is a wonderful low cost alternative to more expensive but similar flat irons in the market. All in all, I really like this Flat iron and I am glad I tried it before splurging on more expensive irons.

I purchased this flat iron to replace a prior styling aid. The old one was a combination flat iron/styling brush, so this was my first "real" flat iron. When ordering, I wanted something that was black, and I wanted plates that were both ceramic and floating. This flat iron looks like the photo, although the white parts stand out more. It's smaller than I had expected - it's 10.5" from end to tip (add another 1.25" for the cord protrusion), but the plates themselves are just 4" long, so they have less surface area than I had thought. The temperature on the iron is easy to adjust, and it heats up quickly, emitting a subtle beep when it is ready. I definitely wanted the auto shut-off feature, although I haven't needed that of yet. I also wanted an iron that had a locking mechanism, which this does. However, I've been leaving it open on the counter since the locking mechanism, a little slide down near the plug, seems rather delicate; I will probably only use this for travel. Another slightly annoying issue is that because the bottom of the iron is rounded, it is a bit unstable when I set it down on the counter. When I'm using it, I actually usually wind up setting it down in the open position on its side. This is rather awkward, but it works. The swivel cord works well and is long enough (although shorter than my prior device). It took me awhile to get used to using this product, especially on my fine hair. I find the recommended temps for fine hair never work for me; I need more heat for my straight hair to hold anything. I generally use this set at 390* when straightening, 360* when making waves, which works well. (For some strange reason, the temperature control is sometimes in 10* increments, sometimes 20*). The floating plates do not work as well as I had hoped, as my hair still slips through at times. Also, the heel of my palm rests right at the area where the top part of the iron hinges open, and it's VERY easy to pinch the skin when I close the iron. At first, I thought I might send this iron back, as it felt awkward to use and I was struggling with some of the issues I mentioned above. However, now that I am more adept at using it, I do find that it works pretty well. I don't think this is the best flat iron out there, but for what I paid, it was a good deal, and it does meet my needs.

I’ve had this hair straightener since 2013 and it still works great. It is literally a trooper and has well served its purpose and great for the price. It’s great for curling too!

I have very frizzy tight curls and this works extremely well. Replaced a Remington I had for 15 years. Should’ve replaced it sooner.

Good for thick frizzy hair. Needs voltage converter.

Big problem with this product is that it cannot be plugged into any Indian socket. You need an adapter or converter to use this product . Adapter is not included with this product. Otherwise its a good product quality wise.. does not damage your hair.. no stickiness after straightening
