There are so many advantages to this mat.The rubber is soft and jelly and adhered to all the surfaces i placed it on. Stays well on the wooden table, as well as plastic and on my couch. No spills, no messes and my kid can't push it around so there are no food accidents.While this is jelly plastic, surprisingly, it is also very firm. The raised edges of each compartment are rigid and hold food in, hot or cold, and they are quite large and allow a decent portion of food.It washes of super well, and it's dishwasher safe, though i haven't tried that yet.The mat comes in a very convenient clear bag, with handels and a soft spoon. We took it to the park and then found the carry bag useful, as the mat was dirty and we had a place to store it. It's also easy to roll, and then place in the bag, if in need of another storage option.While the design is attractive, i mostly appreciate that each compartment allows a generous quantity of food. It encourages my kid to eat everything, but not over do it, and find diversity.... and makes me think of new recipes. I also received a code to download a ton of interesting recipes, so that added to the excitement of our newly received product.I purchased two mats because i like to have one on standby. Both colors are vivid and fun.Very practical, large enough to fit diverse food, but take over your entire table and convenient with a picky kid! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Stays put! *by R***N on Reviewed in the United States on November 29, 2017* Got this for my 1 year old son. The mat has different sized sections that makes it easy to get different foods all on one "plate". The depth is good for helping my kiddo scoop things up. I have not tried anything less thick than yogurt and not sure how a soup would hold up. I have a wood table and the mat has no issues sticking to the surface and does not leave behind any marks. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Arrived damaged *by T***S on Reviewed in the United States on June 29, 2017* Product arrived damaged. The carrying case handles were "ripped off". One of the main reasons I was attracted to this item was because of the convenient carrying case, and now I can't even use it! The plate itself is great along with the spoon included. But, the carrying case is made from that cheap, thin, plastic.
