Cute and compact! Only thing in it that I probably won’t be using is the earwax picker, just because I feel a little bit hesitant to put anything in my ear! Purchased it only for the nail items, and am very happy with it!

I’m a guy in his late sixties and I’ve never purchased a nail clipper yet alone a full manicure kit. I do have a couple of finger nail clippers and a larger for the toes. To be honest I don’t even know where I got those. Perhaps they were family hand me downs. So I thought it time to purchase something and I saw this set in the specials and decided it was time. To be honest the thing that caught my attention was the pair of clippers that resembled wire cutters. I have one tough toe nail which is long and ragged and has destroyed at least a half a dozen gold toes. Now I was going to get even and cut it down to size or at least short enough so it wouldn’t destroy any more of my socks. I must tell you I’m a Parkinson’s patient and holding anything steady is a bit difficult,but the cutter felt stable enough and after a few tries I succeeded cutting the nail. That one clipper was worth the price of the kit. So I decided to give the fingernail clipper a try but my hand tremors prevented that idea. The following day my home health aide who was after me to get some new nail clippers made short work of my fingernails. The toe nails were next and cutting them wasn’t as easy as we hoped. My toenails for some reason are extremely thick and hard. My aide had me soak my feet in some pretty hot water hoping they would soften up a bit but she still couldn’t get through the nails. Turns out she didn’t have the hand strength to get through the nails. Luckily my physical therapist arrived and saved the day. He took the clipper and had no trouble getting through the nails. The next day I found that though the nails were cut pretty even my socks still caught some rough spots. The kit contains a file which worked very well and I must have the nicest toes in the neighborhood. The rest of the tools in the kit weren’t recognized by either my aide or therapist. They were however recognized by my neighbor who stopped by with some cookies, well most of them. The ones she recognized all are used by her manicurist and she explained each one to us. As I said in the beginning I was mostly interested in the heavy cutters and I consider the other cutters and tools a bonus. The one star deduction is due to the case not closing completely. I’ll most likely order a couple of more sets and gift them to my daughter and granddaughter. I received no financial considerations nor received this item free for this review. Full Amazon retail was paid.

We own many of these for travel and leave in our travel suitcases as well as a kit in every bathroom. High quality and not expensive. Can be used for all kinds of stuff from small repairs to actual nail care.

I appreciate the value of all the items, and they seem well-made, as well as the carrying case, which I wasn't expecting. However, the tweezers were the main reason I bought this set, and they honestly just don't work well. I have to buy new tweezers, which sucks because they'll probably cost half this set. So I would recommend this if you need everything else and already have a good pair of tweezers. If not, maybe opt for a different product or kind of tweezers in a set.

I had some old clippers and tweezers that needed upgrading and this set fit the bill. The organized and tidy appearance of the case makes me very happy. The variety of items is quite good and the clippers are strong and sharp.
