SEAL IS EASY TO LOSE!!!
I have just purchased this item for the third time because I have lost the rubber seals (it leaks without this component). I contacted Porsche in the hope I could purchase new ones, but unfortunately, this is not possible. I feel it does need to be rinsed. I think I will still do that, but immediately replace it.
