I greatly enjoyed putting it together, and was surprised by how much fun I had putting it together. However, took off one star because my kit was missing the double sided adhesive.

The quality of this product is excellent. It's made up of what appears to be 1/8 in hardboard. It is extremely well cut. The print on it is lovely. It is also very sturdy, I didn't scratch it while assembling it. I can see that if someone got hasty with itor impatient they might snap a piece. However, nothing ever broke during my assembly. They have little hardwood pieces that look like pebbles or rocks that you're supposed to put in there but I didn't care for those. I went in my backyard where I have some beautiful pea gravel and used that for little rocks which I thought improved it greatly. The light in it works wonderfully, bringing the scene to life. The sensor works perfectly, and can be turned off. There is a mirror that goes in the back that gives the book nook great depth. It's only been sitting on my bookshelf for less than 24 hours so I can't attest to the lifespan of the lighting. I am absolutely enchanted with it and highly recommend it. I have now purchased the Van Gogh and I'm excited to get started on that one when it arrives!

I really enjoyed this kit. Was easy to complete. Instructions were clear and helpful. I was able to do it while I watched Netflix. Super excited to have it on my bookshelf at my office.

This was so much fun to assemble and see it slowly come to life! I gifted to my mother and she looked at it for like 15 minutes. It maybe a little hard to assemble for younger kids but for pre-teens and above it should be no problem!

I t was lots of fun putting this project together. Parts was well laid out and instructions were easy to follow. I had some problem finding the scale size for customizing. It was just a little too big for wine and beverage bottles to add realism. Like the motion sensor to turn on dioramas lights automatically.

I was AMAZED while constructing this at how well designed and built it is. Each set of pieces snaps solidly and perfectly in the next, and the instructions are very clear and precise, with just enough information to know which side is the front or back, or which direction a piece needs to be placed. And then to boot, it's a beautiful display of one of my favorite artists, Vincent Van Gogh.If they ever come out with an M.C. Escher book, I'll be among the first to buy it.

I was able to put this together on my own fairly easily, the instructions are good, and I don't always follow visual instructions very well. The mirror gets placed on an angle! That was the only tricky part. This is very quality- everything goes together very well and is cut to tight specifications. Mine came with no glue but did come with a tiny mallet I did not need to use. I used Weldbond glue for the glue and it worked out great.
