Versatile and Easy to Use
I bought this product to lock closet doors. There are two closet doors that each fold as the doors are opened. They also work better than the other products I’ve purchased. I placed them on my kids dresser drawer after a couple of the magnetic child proof locks stopped working. I think this is easier to use than the magnetic locks. They are openable with one hand and do not require me to grab a magnetic key before opening a drawer. It may not seem like a big deal, but grabbing the key and using it for each drawer makes dressing the children a bit of a chore since I’ll need one thing from about four different drawers. With this kind of lock it takes about half the time to lay out their clothes in the morning, I can do it with one hand, and I can place the lock on most things that need to be child proofed.

Works great
We used these on our toilets as little man was always putting his hands in the toilet water. Great quality and effective. He won’t be able to figure it out as you must squeeze two different mechanisms at a time which would be difficult for little hands. A little bulky looking but perfect for doors or areas that won’t work for the new magnetic type that are more discrete.

Strong adhesive, works very well for anyone who doesn’t have arthritis or other pain in hands.
We purchased this product to childproof our kitchen and bathrooms. We have a 6 year-old special needs child who is actually mentally sharp and incredibly physically strong for her size. She has behavioral issues, including a problem with self-regulation and sleeping. She gets up in the night, raids the kitchen and trash then stashes it all around her room to consume whenever she has enough privacy not to get caught. So far, these locks have held up to the challenge. We have them on our refrigerator and freezers, pantry, cabinets and bathroom drawers. It would be nice if these were adjustable in length as some of the other brands are. We have had to place them on an angle on some of the cabinets for them to work. The biggest problem we’ve had with them is being too difficult for my husband to open. He has nerve damage from carpal tunnel and overworking his hands in his profession. These add to his frustration and the time it takes him to prepare for work and bedtime. We may have to switch to keyed locks instead. I would recommend these locks to anyone who has young children or elderly who have to be closely supervised as long as you have no problems with inflammatory joint pain in your hands or fingers.

Easy to install, hard for toddler to open
I initially wasn't sure how I felt about this lock because it's a bit more expensive than some others and slightly harder to open. After buying and installing a pack of these, I went for some cheaper ones to lock up other drawers/cabinets, which worked well for a while--until my 23 month old figured out how to open those. Now those are useless and that money is wasted. These are still too difficult for her, so I bought some more. Worth the money to have something you'll use longer.

These are good for travel or if you are staying somewhere temporarily ...
These work on cupboards, appliances and toilets, but they also work on doors and trash can. Keeps little hands out of the toilet which was the main reason we ordered these. These are good for travel or if you are staying somewhere temporarily and you do not want to damage things by drilling. We are also impressed with this brand as they have provided 12 extra strips of the 3M adhesives, and also a lock remover. We havent used the remover yet, but it looks easy to do and they guarantee it would not damage the surface when removed. Completely satisfied uptil now.The only downside is that they are pricey.

Adult proof too.
I have a baby, a toddler, who gets into everything! This picture shows that you only need one hand to open this, but you need two. I don’t seems to ever have two hands free these days and when I am not watching the baby, I try to make my life as easy as possible. This was making my life harder and were immediately sent back! I ended up getting some magnetic unclocking locks that install with 3m tape. Much easier and make for a much happier mommy!

Works well enough, but hard to open for adults too
Works to keep my son out of the cabinets.I'll see if it lasts though, the applicatio nprocess was esay but its a little hard to remove especially from lower cabinets considering what is required to actually remove it.
