I bought this self-tanning mousse for my sister in law since she was looking for a more natural, skin friendly option. She was very pleased with it. The mousse texture makes it easy to apply and doesn’t leave a sticky feeling. The color builds gradually, allowing you to control the depth of the tan.One thing we both appreciated is that it doesn’t have the strong odor typical of many self-tanners. The finish looks natural and even no blotches or streaks.

Wow! This self-tanning mousse honestly blew me away. The texture is super light, it goes on smoothly, and it’s incredibly gentle to apply. Honestly, I loved this self-tanner. It's a mousse, super easy to apply (I used it with a mitt), and the best part is that it doesn't smell strong like others I've tried. The color looks natural, like a golden tan, not orange at all.It dries quickly and doesn't leave you feeling sticky. I applied it at night and the next day I already had that healthy glow. Perfect if you don't want to go out in the sun but still want that tanned look.Oh, and it's vegan, cruelty-free, and with cleaner ingredients than others sold out there.If you have fair to medium skin, this will work great for you. Just exfoliate beforehand and apply evenly. I would definitely buy it again. 🔥

This is a long review but I hope it helps someone. I would say I am a pretty experienced self tanner. I have used the Coco & Eve brand for years, and I do love that brand, however I wanted to try a self tanner that was colorless and a little more subtle. The Coco & Eve brand works very well, but it's definitely more dramatic than this one and it does have stain potential. This is my first experience with one that is colorless.I also want to point out different people have different needs and different skin types and tones. A self tanner that works great for me, may not be the best for you. It is important when choosing a self tanner that you choose one that compliments your skin type and skin tone. There are many tanners that have a green base (this is better for people with cool undertones) and those that have a violet base (better for warmer undertones). This has to do with color theory. People with cool undertones tend to have fairer skin and have pinky tones to them which green cancels out. People with warm undertones tend to have yellowish undertones, which the violet cancels out.This product in particular mentions this in the color descriptions. I have fair skin and a cool undertone, so I choose the lightest color.Here are some pros and cons of this product:Pros:I found that it did not have an overly fake tanner smell. It was very mild compared to other brands I have used. It does not stain your clothes or sheets. It is very easy to apply. The color was very nice, however it is not super dark. It gives more of a sun kissed look. The color is more natural. There was no orangeness to it and my hands and feet did not look overly saturated. It is not splotchy either. I did not feel like it was sticky after applying either. It also dried quickly.Cons:On the flip side, because it is colorless it's hard to tell where you put the product on your skin. It definitely takes some getting to used to. I wish the color was slightly darker, but overall I think the pros outweigh the cons.Application:I used a tanning mitt for my body and Kabuki brush to apply to my face, hands, and feet. I definitely recommend shaking before applying.Overall, I give it 4 out of 5 stars. I definitely would recommend to anyone looking for a more natural looking tan.

Tried this self tanner recently and really liked it. Goes on easily, dries fast, and doesn’t feel sticky. The color developed gradually into a nice, natural-looking tan no streaks or orange tone. I also like that it’s made with natural ingredients and has no strong smell. The clear formula didn’t stain my clothes or sheets. Overall, a solid choice if you’re looking for a clean, simple self tanner.

So here’s the thing… this is a good self tanner, especially if you’re trying to stick with clean ingredients. However, it has one major flaw. I consider myself a self-tanning master. I worked in a spray tan salon for years and have also been using tanning foam both with and without visible immediate color for years. I’ve noticed in other reviews, people say that they don’t have any color appear after washing it off and I know why that is. I don’t know why this happens, but for some reason, there is a separation of the foam and the actual DHA (what makes you tan) in the bottle. You can shake the bottle VIGOROUSLY to hopefully combine it as much as possible, but because it goes on nearly clear, it’s hard to tell if it’s combined or not when pumping out the foam. If you look closely, you can see a slight brown/orange tint to the foam that contains the DHA, but if it’s pure white, you’re not getting any actual tan in the pump you just pumped out. I’ve attached an image of both of my hands that I made absolutely SURE to coat perfectly evenly.. My left one got much darker than my right. And it’s because I could see the slight tint in the foam when applying it to the left hand, but only white pumps came out on the right. So, use with caution. Brownie points for clean ingredients, but if you want a streak-free, even tan, and don’t mind the chemicals used in other fake tans, definitely go with Bondi Sands. They have a PHENOMENAL self tanning foam. I do have olive skin, however, and Bondi Sands is on the greener side, so make sure you know your skin’s undertone before deciding on a self tanner.
