I didn't use the quick release clips and I used bolts with lock nuts instead. But like I said depending on your vehicle/ roof rack mounting will be different for everyone. **Q: Will this fit a VW Westfalia using the avaiable rain gutter brackets?** A: No. It’s universal which means it fits nothing.
