Common Buckwheat Hulls - 6 LBS Buckwheat Pillow Fillings, 100% Organic Buckwheat Groats, Stuffing Bulks

I am poor... but I really wanted to try a buckwheat pillow. I figured I could assemble my own & save some money. I'm no expert, but my experience might help other noobs like me! Now, I'm not going to comment on comfort, because that's subjective. This is just what I've learned: 😊 • I purchased the 6lb size. • The actual weight of hulls I received was 6lbs 9oz. • There was super-minimal debris. • There's *barely* the faintest scent... a very light, natural, earthy smell -not unpleasant at all- similar to a faint "hay" smell. • The 6lb size filled one standard-sized pillow protector LOOSELY. • I've learned, you DO NOT want too much wiggle-room for the hulls. They simply flatten-out if given the space. After the first night, I filled a toddler pillowcase instead. With nowhere to go inside a smaller case, the hulls form to your head & neck in the most glorious way! • I recommend a case made for feather pillows. The hulls are rough! • The hulls are surprisingly loud! I mean, your ear is *right there*. With every movement, you can hear the hulls shifting about. A thick, quilted pillow sham definitely helps muffle the sound. I highly recommend these hulls. They arrived quickly & packaged safely. They are great quality! My pillow every bit as good as I'd hoped! 🩷

I received a small Korean pillow from a friend with buckwheat hulls inside and fell in love with how it formed to my head. It was so surprisingly comfortable, I’d easily fall asleep during lunch breaks (thankfully I work remotely). After a month of loving that pillow, I decided to buy a body pillow zip cover and fill it up with 24 pounds of these! Okay, so I’m not a fan of weighted blankets because the weight across an entire blanket feels suffocating to me, but when filling up a zip body pillow cover with this, it was the best idea I’ve ever thought of. I would suggest anyone try this! In a way, I’d say it’s similar to having a weighted blanket because the weight of the hulls gets pretty hefty after having 24 pounds. However, it’s not spread across an entire blanket, and you can still shift the hulls around to have thicker and heavier or thinner and lighter areas of the pillow however you feel comfortable. YES, the hulls will form and shift around your body, and it will be SO comfortable. Being single, maybe it’s sad to say the hulls helped me make the perfect cuddle buddy, but I definitely don’t have to deal with someone stealing the blanket, or hogging most of the bed. I mean, I can toss the thing aside in the morning and go about my day. I saw some reviews of bugs, and some saying there weren’t any problems. I purchased this four separate times and never had any issues with creatures crawling around. I didn’t have to heat the hulls up. I just got my packages, examined them, and poured it right into the body pillow cover and zipped the cuddle buddy up. Get rid of your partner, buy a body pillow cover and 24 pounds of this. You’ll thank me later.

Used this to fill a camera lens support for a car window. Worked great and light weight for travel.

I like the value for the amount you get. However, I should warn you that the bag is a resealable bag, and it gets packed with the resealable part down. When you pull the bag out of the box, if the bag isn't completely sealed, then you end up spilling buckwheat hulls all over the place (yes, this happened. Luckily, it was just a small section that was not sealed).

I recently purchased a Lofe buckwheat pillow that I love and I wanted some extra buckwheat hulls to fill up another small pillow so I stuck with this brand. Hulls are perfect and clean. Based on my 2 purchases, I will be buying more from this brand.

I love how I can move the filling to where I want support in my pillow, and my head doesn't sink down during the night. - It keeps the support where I put it. Does have to be replaced eventually.

I have always slept on a buckwheat pillow, so after reading many other reviews, I decided to purchase this product, as I wanted to make my own size of pillow, I suffer from cervical pain and have tried several different types of pillows, so getting a good night sleep is very important for me. The product came very well packed, the buckwheat hulls were very clean no issues whatsoever, also instructions on how to preserve and maintain them longer, so this is why I gave them a 5 star rating. Trust me, you won’t be disappointed. They also have a great support system, when I contacted them for the free storage bag, which I might add was very nice as well, I received a reply very quickly.
