Carhartt Men's Series 1889 Loose Fit Jean Straight Leg

These jeans are labeled as "Loose fit" and for the most part they are, except where it counts. You see, although these jeans are labeled as "MEN's series 1889", if you are a man, there is just no room for your genitals. The way these jeans are cut your junk will be squeezed tight all day unless you are very careful about how you sit and stand. Other than that, they seem to be pretty tough, and they look pretty good too. But I don't like having to constantly think about how my pants/unit need to be manipulated to move around all day, so I won't be buying these again.

I'm a big fan of Carhartt's 1889 line of clothing. I've purchased their 1889 Series Relaxed Boot Cut jeans and love how they fit, but I also wanted some that were a little looser for everyday. I ordered a pair of these expecting the same quality of finish and fit. Judging by the other reviews here, mine where mislabeled. I ordered 32Wx34L and they fit more like 34Wx36L or possibly larger.I've been looking for jeans that were durable and fit well ever since Levi's quality disappeared. I'll probably try these again, though I have no idea what size to order now.

I absolutely love these comfortable jeans! The only problem is the "crotch" area is a little tight compared to other jeans and brands but they are made really well, strong, stitching is great, and looks like it will last a while. HINT: Wash only on cold if you can help it. They do shrink if you don't so be prepared.Otherwise it is excellent material, a good brand, not easily worn down, and I was very happy that they have a trendy design to keep up with the fashion of the day.I would definitely buy Carhartt again at any time! Just don't get their overalls. Well, unless you are a country folk. ;o)

I will say I was hesitant to spend this kind of money on jeans, I am glad I did. They hold up better than any pair I've owned, are comfortable and not scratchy. The wash is what the picture shows, the color is true. I hate buying jeans only to realize they look darker/lighter than what I ordered. Where most other jeans have a double stitch around the seems, this has a triple. I don't have to worry about playing nice in them. They look good too, I've had several people ask me what brand they are. If you want quality this is the pair for you.

I have about 8-9 pairs of this same brand, same style blue jeans. I never liked the Carhartt work jeans or pants because I thought the material was just too thick and stiff but these jeans are perfect! I will never buy a different style as long as Carhartt makes these. They last forever to, the first pair I bought was about 6 years ago and I'm still wearing them to work to this day.

I'm 6'6" / 240 lbs and the 36x36 was a perfect fit. These jeans are very high quality and look and feel great, very loose-fitting and comfortable. My only gripe is the color was much darker than I expected.

This are my favorite jeans to wear. I really hope that carhatt keeps making the 1889 series. Very well made and last a long time. They fit very well just below the waist.

The waist fits to size just the loose fit in the butt and legs is bigger than I expected.....However they are good looking jeans!
