SAFAVIEH Sahara Hand-Tufted Round Rug 6 ft, Boho Braided Charcoal SAH490H

Description

SAFAVIEH Sahara SAH490H is a hand-tufted polyester boho round rug in charcoal, made in India. Shown here in the 6 ft round size, it measures 6 ft in diameter (72 in / 183 cm) and has a 3/8 in pile. An understated circular silhouette edged with knotted macrame netting and thick fringe brings relaxed Bohemian texture to modern rooms. A light gray ground provides medium contrast against crisp white accents for a balanced neutral look. Shown here in charcoal. Construction: hand-tufted in India from polyester on a cotton with latex foundation, 3/8 in pile height. Hand-Tufted means yarn punched by hand through a canvas back, then bonded to a cloth backing, so the density and hand-feel of handwork at an accessible price. Polyester carries saturated color that resists fading and feels soft to walk on; heavy furniture can leave impressions that lift with a soft brush. Size and placement: a 6 ft round sits under a 36-42 in round table with chairs pulled out, or centers a nursery or entry. Use SAFAVIEH rug pad PAD121-6R underneath to stop creep, protect the floor and add cushion. Will it fit under my door? Measure the gap first - the pile is 3/8 in and a pad adds about 1/4 in. Does it shed? Heavy furniture can leave impressions that lift with a soft brush. Why does it look darker from one side? The fibers lean in one direction, so the rug has a light side and a dark side - two ways to love the same piece. Walk around it before placing it, then face the side you prefer toward the main entry. Rooms: bedroom, kitchen, living room, home office, entryway. Whether you are searching for a 6 ft round rug, a polyester rug, a boho rug or a charcoal area rug, this design answers all of them in one piece. SAFAVIEH began in 1914 as curators of antique rugs, opened its first Madison Avenue showroom in 1978, and today designs and makes rugs, furniture, lighting and decor across three continents from its New York home.
