Carwires MJ200C – Premium Car Audio Cassette Adapter with 1M / 3.28FT Audio Cable

I've read some of the recent reviews of this cable, stating that it's poorly made. Speaking from my own experience, and having used it every day for the past month, I've found just the opposite. I've been using it on a daily basis '02 Camaro SS. It's been subject to extreme conditions, as I've removed it from one device, and put it in the other several times a week. There have been no issues whatsoever, and absolutely no signs that any portion of it may be coming apart. The sound quality from my iPhone 6plus is great , and has never wavered. It fits into the 3.5mm aux ports perfectly, and exactly the same as the day I purchased it. I was happy to also see that they offer a 1 year warranty on this adapter, it's good to know they stand behind their products. As for this adapter, the bottom line is that it works perfectly, and continues to do so despite my subjecting it to almost daily abuse.

I have used this adapter almost daily since July of 2018. The performance has been flawless. I have had several of these adapters. In some cases the cassette would eject spontaneously making it impossible to use. In another case the mini plug was too short to use when the phone was in a protective case. With this product the cassette adapter has worked flawlessly and the fidelity and volume are excellent, even better than when plugged directly into the radio in a newer car. The mini plug works perfectly even with a case on the phone there is never a contact problem. After seven months of hard use I have been completely satisfied.

Fuzzy sound, lots of static, music is inaudible. Company did not do anything to resolve the issue. In fact, they did not respond at all to my inquiry. Total waste of money.

I used to have to get these replaced every few months because they would start making a really unpleasant fuzzy noise whenever they were used or the cord would break, but this one's still working for me. What I've found is that, for some reason, iPhone aux ports tend to shorten the lifespan quicker (I have an Android, but I would notice the issues didn't start until my friends with iPhones used it). Dongles are a lifesaver if you want this to last. As far as sound quality goes, the higher the volume on your phone, the more bassy but less clear it is, and the higher the volume of the car speakers, the less bass and more shrill it is, so you really have to find the right balance of both, but when you do, it does sound very good.

I thought I had bought a piece of garbage with poor sound quality, but shortly after I bought this I had gotten myself a new phone (upgraded from an Alcatel 7 to a Samsung Note 9, big upgrade) and noticed a striking difference. With my Alcatel 7 everything sounded unbearably fuzzy. With my Note 9, the quality sounded comparable to my CD player. I should mention that so long as I have my phone plugged in, I turn the headphone volume to max. I notice that if the phone's volume is lower, and I'm only turning up the car's volume, there'll be a little bit of white noise in the background. This is otherwise a much cheaper alternative that buying a new sound system like I was previously considering. I'm very happy with my purchase.

First the pros: The cord that you plug into your device can be moved from the back to the side of the cassette body allowing for the device to be used in front or side loading cassette players. The sound that comes out of the speaks is very good, i.e., there is very little loss of quality during the conversion process (digital to analog). The cons: there is a discernible "clunking" noise that comes out of the cassette player which is distracting and unless you are listening to your music really loud, will probably drive you nuts - it does me.

I got this to use in my old Buick so I didn’t have to listen to the radio all the time. As long as you use as recommended, it works just fine. Leave your phone volume at 3/4 and then use the stereo to turn volume up further. It may have just been my car, but if I had it at a louder volume (not deafening) and I hit a bump, it would make a deep clicking noise until I lowered the volume until it stopped and then brought it back up. Other than that, works great.

You get what you pay for. This didn't last long at all. It worked for the first 30 days or so. But then you slowly had to turn up the volume to be able to hear it through the car speakers. And that just got worse as time went on. About 3 months in, I threw it out.

Great simple fix for old stereo systems and way cheaper than any alternatives - durable and not bad quality output either

La calidad de audio es impresionante. No sé de qué se quejan en otras opiniones (quizá no saben regular el audio, ya que tienes que ajustar el volumen tanto en tu reproductor mp3 como en tu estéreo para escuchar la música sin distorsiones). Yo estoy satisfecho.
