The perfect gift for a LEGO enthusiast! It's not my thing, but I'm getting second-hand enjoyment watching my spouse assemble it. SO MANY CLEVER DETAILS! from an art gallery to a phone on the front desk to a moldy croissant in the back dumpster. Teensy shampoo bottles on the teensy bathtub. There are little stories to accompany many of the details. It's totally adorable. The floors are easily separated to admire the clever stuff on each level. My spouse will build it according to the instructions, then play around with it to add it to our massive LEGO steampunk city. Expensive, yes, but there's no doubt it's up to LEGO's usual high quality standards.

Of all the adult sets I have constructed, this was my favorite without question. It was challenging yet fit together like a glove. The look of the finished building draws many comments and it's easy to remove sections to reveal the interior details. It is also modular so additional sets can be added to either end. No more Lego cars for me as they are too tricky. I'll stick to buildings and lots of pieces!

While this set isn’t as tedious as a technic build that requires a lot of patience with smaller pins. This set does have some amazing details. And in Lego’s true fashion there are little Easter eggs within the set that only the builder would know about. The instructions as always are clear and easy to follow with some narration and cool facts about the Easter eggs within the set. It is the first of my town building and I can’t wait to add to it!

I really like this. It's not that hard to assemble but you do have to pay attention to what you're doing but when it's finished it's really excellent. The attention to detail is stellar and I love the people that come with it. So much fun!

My husband build the city sets and he wanted this one to incorporate. He says the base is a bit small but he loves the architectural design.

This thing is huge, love all the details. Was surprised when the box was larger than the motorized lighthouse. Makes me want to get more buildings so I can set up a whole scene..I guess this is how it starts.

The item itself is fine. The instructions and all packages seem to be there. However, the box was very damaged and it did not come inside a box. They slimply put a sticker on it and sent it on its way.On top of the fact it arrived later than initially expected, the box was damaged beyond my liking.Not professional at all.

My granddaughter (13 years old) loved this set. She enjoys the more difficult Lego sets!’
