Zotos Texture EFX Color Perm, Treated

With previous home hair perms I’ve always gotten curls or waves, but my color became faded and my hair became fragile. Not with Zotos efx Texture Perm! My color stayed true and there is so much shine. I was looking for more body than actual curls and that is exactly what I got. I used only half of the waving lotion because my hair is mostly short and I did not want to overdo it. I detected no odor. I left it on for less than 10 minutes and used all of the Neutralizer as directed. When wet, my hair was quite curly, but I think the secret of success is in the leave-in splash solution used after perming is complete. I let my hair air dry and then styled it with my curling iron as usual. Beautiful body! Exceptional, soft feel! I love this perm and will only use this brand next time.

I love this perm. I do my own and it saves me so much money plus I can control what kind of curl I want. I use medium sized rods and it give me a great perm that I can wear as natural curly or style it. It usually lasts 6-8 months depending on how much I cut my hair. I keep it just above my shoulders. Just be sure and follow the directions and you should come out with nice looking curls. I have frosted/highlighted hair and it works great on it.

For years I have had my hair straightened professionally. It would result in flat very straight hair but will still better than all the frizz. I have very fine white (natural) hair (previously blonde) and was concerned about damage. I followed the instructions from the woman who said her salon perm resulted in poodle curls. She used this perm to correct those results. Her results were positive. I left the perm mixture on for 8 minutes and combed through with a wide toothed comb. I followed the rest of the instructions on the inside of the perm box. I am very pleased with the results. The condition thus far is excellent and most of the wild frizz is gone. When I woke up I did not have wild hair sticking out all over. I did let it dry naturally for a while but decided to use my heated air brush to finish drying it. My hair quickly dried, still had some body and was easily controlled. I still had some tight curls at the top hairline but they were easy to straighten. Next time I may add 1 minute onto the processing part. I am very sensitive to smell and was able to tolerate it with a strong fan overhead. It did slightly darken my hair but I presume that will change.

I recently purchased this product and loved it! I have color treated and highlighted hair, so when I decided to perm my hair I had to be very cautious. I didn’t want to fry it and cause any to break off or fall out. I found this one and the reviews seemed pretty good and it could be used on bleached hair, so I gave it a try. I loved it! I have done my own hair for years and this is by far the best perm I have ever used. The curl turned out perfectly and there was no damage. Actually, it feels very soft. In processing, I checked it every three minutes and only processed it for around 10 minutes. It turned out exactly the way I wanted it! The smell wasn’t as bad as others I’ve tried either. Definitely recommend. The only downside, it was delivered with the box damaged. It looked like someone had cut the box open. The contents of the box were falling out. I inspected the products and they all seemed to be in good condition, so I decided to go ahead and use the products. I’m so glad I did! This brand of perm will be my go to for now on!

Highly Recommend the Perm itself. Leaves my hair nice and soft with a nice curl. I have purchased the Zotos Perm Texture efx for Color Treated Hair several times from this seller and never had a problem until now. This time I was sent the Zotos Perm for normal and resistant hair. There was a white label applied to the top of the box labeling it for Color Treated Hair which did not match what the box said. It had a slit along the bottom. I returned and reordered. This time I got what looked like the same box only the whole bottom of the box was open and the bottles were loose in the package. Again for normal resistant hair NOT the box for color treated hair and missing instructions! I give up! Returning and buying from another seller.

Some frizz if you leave on more than 15 min. I use every 4 mos. The last time I forgot to cover there was no frizz. Think I'll leave it off from now on.

The packaging was open. The perm was in a box and the top had been opened, it looked like it had been opened with a knife. The whole top was cut off. But all of the perm contents was still in the box. Because it was all there and there wasn’t enough time to get another one ordered and delivered; I was limited on time and needed a perm before the holidays. Therefore I went ahead and used the product. I was a little apprehensive since it could have been tampered with, but it did work well and my hair curled ok. So I will NOT be returning the product, despite the damage to the packaging.

The picture of long hair is how I went into my appointment and the short poodle hair is how I came out. After they fried it severely from over processing it, lost several inches and had to keep gel and oils in it to be somewhat manageable. I by chance when researching how to help fried hair, came across a video of a stylist who used a regular perm to straighten out the curls and help to create more manageable locks. It's off label use, but really helped me out! Add lotion to freshly washed hair, comb straight for 7 min, Rinse for 5, pat with towel, add neutralizer, comb for 5 min, rinse for 5, add leave in conditioner and air dry. Straighten & curled ends (previous damage from the poodle perm) to hide. Zero damage visible from this product, no hair loss. Game changer for self confidence after a very expensive mistake done by a professional.
